James Buchanan Barnes, the Winter Soldier, takes on T'Challa, the king of Wakanda, and M'Baku, the leader of the Jabari tribe in a random encounter with the opponents having no prior knowledge of one another.
Bucky has a Gerber Mark II combat knife. Both T'Challa and M'Baku have their ritual combat gear. T'Challa is depowered.
All combatants are morals off and determined to win by any means necessary.
Fight starts 20 ft apart at a neutral location not favoring any of the combatants.
@originalcaptain: you're right, ontop of me already agreeing that winter Solider would win. I mean, it’s not like these are the most formidable opponents he’s fought.
Winter Soldier. They're just not beating him with T'Challa depowered.
I mean, WInter Soldier wasn't that impressive, unless you want to powerscale from Cap, which, is not really that good imo.
I think he's seriously underrated here with context or events being looked over in his previous fights.
Captain America never outright actually beat him. They were pretty much at a stalemate in all of their encounters, the one where WS gets choked out is because his mission was to stop the codes from being uploaded first and then kill Cap. He turned his back on Cap to go for the chip when he had just stabbed and could have possibly finished Steve off. Their next fight, he actually overcame Cap in H2H and BFR'd him down an elevator shaft. Some of his good showings, i admit are due to him having his metal arm.
All of the WS vs BP fights had a lot of context behind them as well. Bucky was focused on escaping while not trying to kill (in one of the encounters), had his ears rung and blinded in the next, all while BP was fighting bloodlusted trying to kill.
H2H, I think Bucky, Steve and T'Challa (no suit) are all close in skill.
What has an unenhanced T’Challa or M’Baku done to show that they can last more than 5 seconds with a super-soldier level foe ? Fighting with and like freaking brawlers ? Or are people that blind by the new movie hype ? Bucky crumbstomps
@ldm: Yeah, Bucky has the strength advantage due to him having his superhuman abilities in this battle scenario but the guys that M'Baku was ragdolling had vibranium-weave clothing at a lower degree than Black Panther and he knocked them out with his strikes. His striking output is powerful to launch these opponents 10+ feet in the air with no problem without any amps with their armor on top of that. And T'challa was able to match as well as overpower him during their fight to decide who will be king. Also, with just his strength, he was able to just throw around grown men with his bare hands 5+ feet. But, don't get me wrong. This fight for the team will be brutal due to the Winter Soldier's stat advantage compared to them. In fact, in a best scenario of where they were able to win, one of them would most likely be dead in this fight and one would be on the edge of death door.

His striking output is powerful to launch these opponents 10+ feet in the air with no problem without any amps with their armor on top of that.
Bucky can do this
This is at least 35 feet UPWARD. MUCH harder than sending something fly downward or parallel with the ground , and the guy would have probably gone like 20-30 feet more has the turbine NOT sucked him down

Bucky is a physical peer to Cap by both statements and feats, same Cap can do this
Catches a flying Black Panther with one arm. Now this might seem average compared to the other feats I post, but that is only if you at it at face value. Like if you take into account that Bucky and Cap's vehicle were moving at the tunnel speed limit (50 MPH) plus the extra jump force, then BP should be moving at minimum 60 MPH and Buck stops him dead with one arm in a split second, which means that the deceleration rate would be 267 m/s^2. Black Panther is around Cap's weight, add the suit and he should be around 250 lbs/125 kg. F= M*A = 125 kg*267m/s^2 = 33,375 Newton of force or 3.4 ton of force
Breaks out of steel restrains. Just note that even A36 steel has an ultimate tensile strength of 58,000 psi (26 tons of force needed to tear it apart), and Bucky's restrains were most likely made of much more durable metal

It is not just going to be brutal, it is going to be one-side as hell. The team here is facing a super-soldier who has the damage output of a CAR moving HIGH SPEED even without his metal arm, and the physical strength of at minimum 2-5 tonner, which is more than enough to tear them apart. With his metal arm and no PIS involve, he can punch their clean off. And to make it worse, both of them fought like freaking brawlers without powers
