MCU: Valkyrie vs. Black Panther & Killmonger

• Valkyrie has her armor and her sword.

• Perfect teamwork. The Wakandan duo have a minute to go about their plan.

Round 2: Valkyrie is just wearing her armor, but unarmed. The other two have their suits, but have no other weapons.

T'Challa could probably solo just from Civil War. His suit is too much

Valkyrie is fodder how is she a factor? Eithet can solo, their physical stats are comparable but duo have vastly superior suits. Hela killed valkyries in hundreds just like all other fodders. Yeah she beat Loki, but how is that a good feat? Anyone can beat Loki at this point. Thor and Hulk ragdolled him, Iron man and Strange one shot him, even Cap America held his own in a solo fight and Loki had infinity stone. Valkyrie has no special feats to be honest.

I think, emphasis on think, she can beat them one on one. Combined, they can quite handily overwhelm her.

People really seem to underestimate asgardians generally. Regular asgardians can bend steel with one hand casually and flip cars. Valkyrie is an elite warrior of that race that from the film trains with Hulk, rips parts off spaceships with her bare hands and tosses a regular human in the air with one hand. The teams physical strength is way below hers and she can take this.

Valkyrie is ten times as strong as them and won't be affected by their hits. She fought HELA for crying out loud, and beat Loki in hand to hand. The same Loki that stomped Cap and held his own in hand to hand with Thor. She knocked down Hulk with one casual strike. she isn't losing to these two guys. This is kind of ridiculous. This is actually a mismatch.

After seeing the movie again (better quality) I truly underestimated Valkyrie.

Her being Hulk's sparring partner alone puts her past the duo.

Edit: To add to the person who mentioned her beating Loki, she actually knocked the dude out. Loki enudred Hulk's thrashing (which didn't knock him out), the explosion at the Bifrost bridge, the fall into the abyss or whatever and getting knocked out of the Bifrost and launched like Thor into Skaar at ftl speeds

He's durable and she just lolnope that. Girl is definitely stronger than I thought.

She fought Hela hand to hand and she didn't lose the second time, and she beat Loki. She is in a tier way above BP and Killmonger is what I mean. They would never fight opponents like that. She is on a different level. She deals with threats way above what those two can handle. Even just knocking down Hulk puts her far above them.

lol no, she casually one-arm tossed a dude like 50 feet away and was physically equal to Loki who was strong enough to ragdoll Cap as if he was a toddler.

@thehunter: To make things fair, I suggest you add a "ring out claus" as in, if someone gets knocked out of a ring they lose.

What ring? It takes place in the Avengers HQ. If you mean get taken out of where the battle is supposed to take place, then that would be BFR, which is a lose by default.

That's all really impressive but at the end of the day she's not more durable than Cap's shield which means they can slice her throat. She can one shot them. They can one shot her. Its a battle of who hits the other first. They are both more skilled and there are two of them. They win. A massive stat advantage doesn't always give you the win. That's why some regular peak humans could beat Captain America if they had a bladed weapon since it grants them the ability to one shot. Its the same here.

So do you think they could kill Thor then? Since they have vibranium claws? What about Hulk?

Valkyrie won't just let then slash her throat. Hawkeye can avoid it, I think she can too. The four lady warriors in Wakanda avoided it (except for the one when she got restrained by Killmonger). I mean, four humans almost beat Killmonger, he isn't just running up to anyone and slashing their throats. That is a fantasy. Surely Valkyrie is more powerful than four humans.

Edit: And no I disagree peak humans could beat Cap with a knife. Bucky couldn't. He is going to fight back, he isn't just letting you stab him. It is the same deal here.

Honestly I don't know if she can get past their suits, it seemed like they can constantly store and release kinetic energy no problem but I could have just forgotten or missed something.

1. Yes they can kill Thor. They wouldn't because Thor's lightning cloak would stop them from even getting close but assuming a situation where Thor is not using any lightning, is unarmed and has no weapons they could possibly win. Hulk would be harder due to his height, size and healing factor but they could at least damage him.

2. I don't that sort of scaling works. Valkyrie isn't Hawkeye. She isn't as skilled as him and I've always been a bit skeptical of that whole fight. Most of it was off screen.

3. The Dora Milaje are possibly more skilled than Valkyrie as well. There were also four of them.

4. That's the problem here. Powerful isn't the same as skilled and fast. She is much stronger than four humans but that doesn't' mean that she beats someone they could match.

5. I'm not saying any peak human but theoretically one that is fast and skilled enough can. They just have to land a hit before he does.

The situation here is that everyone can one shot. That means the faster and more skilled people win. I'm not sure they are faster but they are likely at least comparable and they are much more skilled. Even if they don't win what you said about it being a mismatch should at least be disproven.

If she can spar with hulk then there's nothing stopping her from making them into a mist.

People don't know what they are talking about here, Hulk obviously threw himself on the floor playfully when Valkyrie hit him

With that said in terms of physical stats, Cap=T'Challa, Loki>Cap, Valkryie=Loki so Valkryie is superior in terms of physical stats

In terms of skill I say the combatants are even cause Valkryie is exactly that, a f*n Valkryie, the greatest fighter of a race of great fighters and momentarily scrapped with Hela

The deciding factors are the duo's suits, they give them the win, in a fight with street clothes they get treated like fodder though, like Loki did to Cap when they first met

Regardless, she was routinely Hulk's sparring partner and Hulk liking to fight would not really hold back greatly in such a situation.

Sure they could maybe kill her if they get a good hit in but it is just hard for me to buy someone like them killing Valkyrie. That would never happen in-universe. Even with his shield Cap was totally irrelevant to Loki, and Loki even tanked a shield throw (didn't pierce Loki's Asgardian armor). I feel like something similar would happen in this fight, even if they can technically win.

Valk takes this, not certain if she can penetrate suit but she is smart enough to knock them out with taser if necessary. I don't see a taser that knocked out Thor being weaker than BW's which had an effect on Panther. Also no feats of suit absorbing electricity. Duo lose via internal bleeding or strangulation.

@jayc1324: Yeah I understand you're logic. In universe that likely doesn't happen. But from a feat perspective they can definitely win. I mainly wanted to just convince you that at least from a stand point of feats this isn't a mismatch.

Thor never ragdolled Loki he’s always fought fairly with him although if Loki just stood there and let Thor grab him he probably could, which is basically what Loki did with hulk, Loki didn’t even try to counter attack or do anything when hulk attacked him, so that’s barely even worth mentioning, hulk did the same thing to Thor, yet Thor was still able to fight him evenly. Iron man never one shot Loki. Iron man shot loki with a repulsive blast which he tanked easily with no visible damage he immediately went on his way after that, strange used magic against an unsuspecting Loki to simply bfr him both times, neither of those are a one shot. Cap fought a Loki who had a plan to get the avengers together so he could tear him apart he wanted to get captured and was just delaying the fight waiting for the rest to show up so they would arrest him, plus caps punches did nothing to Loki. No need to lowball Loki like that.

Valkyrie ragdolls them but can't exactly put them down for good.

Wakandan Duo without much difficulty on account of gear, those suits are more than enough to make up for the stat disadvantage.

@king_hellstorm: Okay I have some feats. For strength and durability here she tanks the explosion of a ship and than jumps over to another ship.

Here she does a super leap and cuts a space ship with her sword.

Here she moves Hela with a kick.

That may not seem crazy impressive but Hela barley moves when Thor hits her.

Here she knocks Hela down.

Here she knocks down the Hulk.

From a skill perspective she showed good skill while fodderizing the Asgardian zombie warriors.

Here she outmatches Loki.

@firestormfate1919: I think you are overestimating the impact of vibranium on asgardian skin. Maybe someone else could post a gif but when Thor is fighting Iron Man in Avengers 1, Cap interupts the fight by throwing his shield at them which Im pretty sure actually bounces off Thors bare head and doesnt even faze him, move his head at all or cause a scratch. This is the same shield than can lodge in steel and concrete. That gives you an idea of how durable asgardians can be. So I dont think the vibranium suits are going to give them much of an edge beyond absorbing her blows to some extent. Not enough to counter her vastly superior strength.

The Valkyrie. She is better than Loki, who is more powerful than Cap. Especially she isn't losing while she has that special valkyrie sword, which can cut down spaceships like a butter, their armor ain't doing anything here.
