(MCU) Tony Stark vs Wakandan Army

Tony just decides that he wants all the vibranium in the world . He thus decides to conquer Wakanda .

Tony has twice the armours he ever created .

He has 2 years preparation time .

He knows the exact location of Wakanda .

Wakandan army consists of all the local people who were present to fight the outriders .

Tony has the help of War Machine .

Win by destroying every one of the enemy soldiers .

Who wins ? Wakanda ? Or one Tony Stank ?

Tony destroys with two years of prep.

Stark stomps with 2 years worth of prep.

Assuming it’s Tony with his best gear then he’s already going to stomp Wakanda’s best fighter effortlessly considering unlike T’Challa, Tony actually did something to a character with good feats in Thanos.

His armours will just slaughter everyone else considering what saw Rhodey’s armour had going for it.

If you guys think 2 years is too much , then should I change it to 1 year to be more fair ?

And Wakanda is by far the most advanced nation in the world . Is it really a stomp in Tony's favour ?

Wakanda. He never makes it past the dome. Much less the fleet of indestructible aircraft.

Unless Wakanda knows he's coming and plans to use EMPs, Tony would steamroll the whole country.

@ileo: 2 years prep is a lot of time for the man who figured out Time Travel semantics in one night.

Also deactivating the dome might be the way to go. His plan could consist of a virus that disables their own tech.

Also vibraniun is weak to sound based tech.

@tony_shark: Except Tony didn't figure out time travel, Hank Pym indirectly did, he was already aware of the time vortexes present in the quantum realm he just didn't care enough to explore it but obviously he could. Tony merely found a way to travel through it perfectly, even Bruce did that but with a minor side effect, given time he would've perfected it too and so would other geniuses. Piggy backing off of Hank Pym isn't impressive, period. Don't know why everybody keep trying to wank Tony for a feat he took all day to figure out off somebody else scientific discovery

Too bad he can't do that because he doesn't even know how the dome functions. The dome can only be pierced by plot. Other than that it's no showing giant alien spaceships falling from re-entry and Hulk level beings going against it. Maybe he could think to dig under it.

Lmao only raw vibranium ore Black Panther's nanite suit are susceptible to sound, not pure metal vibranium. Cap's shield is shown generating shock waves all the time, strong enough to knock over Thanos and destroy fodder and trucks. Even then with my first point it's not even a weakness, it makes some vibranium dangerous unstable but only at a certain frequency, it can still be stabilised at a good frequency as Shuri has said.

Tony Stark and War Machine wins without prep

Stark LOLstomps. Doesn't need prep. Honestly, one US fighter jet could probably solo Wakanda's Infinity War army.

Stark wouldn't even need prep to stomp. Also Wakanda definitely isn't the most advanced nation in the world by in-movie feats. Their main weaponry against Thanos' army was SPEARS. A single US fighter jet could potentially solo their IW army considering its pitiful lack of air power.

The spears are decent I guess (although it's nothing something like a grenade launcher can't surpass), but by the time they fire once, they'll already get 20 bullets in the head from a gun.

Honestly a US fighter jet wouldn't even have to engage directly. One airstrike and bye bye Wakanda.

@jimmyvailer: well, yeah, my point is not that they have the best army, but that they have some of the best technology but still only use a more advanced version of traditional weapons. They could use more effective weapons, but Wakandans still have traditional fights for the throne and emphasize cqc more than shooting. It's tradition mixed with advanced technology.

At worst, he could use time travel to gain even more prep... (20 years later) Tony: I guess I'll fight them now, but I have only used 5 seconds of the two year prep...

@ileo: They warned him because they can't control it. If they could they wouldn't have to warn him. Tony found a way to navigate time unlike Pym. Try thinking about things before posting.

Ps they didn't warn him about time travel, they warned him about a time vortex which is different and still so thing they didn't understand if they did his wife wouldn't have been trapped for all that time....

And even if they use EMP's it would destroy their tech and Friday can send more suits after the single with Stark goes dark.

2 years prep is overkill. He could conceivable show up with an army of bots, a way to bypass the dome and a way to destabilize vibranium given that much time. Give more reasonable prep time and it's more interesting.

Anyway, feels like Wakanda's defenses are being a little underrated. They've got the dome which was being overloaded due to sheer numbers of Outriders. It tanked a Black Order ship crashing down from space and killed Cull, a Hulk level being.

They've got Vibranium aircraft with cloaking tech. Tony's come a long way since his days of hiding from F-22s but dealing with nigh indestructible invisible space craft won't be a cakewalk.

Their only decent asset is the shield, which he can get past pretty easily. Tony stomps, obviously.

The US military has technology that isn't affected by EMPs? Do you have any sources for that?

Also, why would EMPs destroy their own tech? They can just detonate EMPs outside the force-field, which Stark has no way to breach anyways.

@blackspidey2099: do a quick google, the US has EMP resist vehicles. How will the use a EMP outside the Force Field? If they launch it Tony see's it coming and evades. If the attack him directly they would be close enough to be affected.

Considering even lightning only makes Tony stronger, I doubt an EMP is gonna do anything . . .

@blackspidey2099: Also EMP's are a by product of nukes and his suit worked fine after the nuke in the wormhole.

They can easily launch EMPs outside the force-field, and Tony can avoid the projectile but he can't avoid the EMP wave spreading out from the projectile at the speed of light...

The EMP from a nuke is only effective within a couple mile radius of the explosion, and well within the blast wave. Tony wasn't hit by the blast wave, so he wouldn't have been affected by the EMP.

"[T]here would be some localized EMP effects," he told Business Insider in an email, "but if you were close enough for your equipment to be damaged by EMP (within a couple miles), then you are also close enough to be significantly impacted by the blast wave."

@mister_stark: Dumbass read my very first post to which you replied to. Hank Pym indirectly discovered time travel and both and his wife had enough knowledge to continue pursuing it if they wanted to but that wasn't a priority nor did they have a chance because of the snap?

His wife wouldn't have been trapped for as long as she was? Yeah dumbass because in Amtman 2 he finally made the breakthrough in Quantum Physics and needed a specific time and coordinates to save her but that had nothing to do with time travel at all

How about you think about who's invention Tony Stark is piggy backing off of to even accomplish time travel? Who's valuable pym particles he needs to even compelete a travel. Even Bruce Banner who is less intelligent than both accomplished time travel with just Hank's van machine. Hank is a better inventor and scientist than Tony so go wank off to a picture of "Mister Stark"

Hank and his wife discovered time travel and already had it cracked with only a few setbacks without even trying, how do you think Banner sent Scott back in the test runs. He true as hell didn't build or replicate any quantum tech

While the EMP travels at light speed, the magnitude of the EMP decreases rapidly with distance. As the expert I quoted said, the EMP is too weak to damage any electronic equipment outside the blast wave of a nuke. Iron Man was outside the blast wave of the nuke, and hence, wasn't affected.

To Leo I don't understand what you're not understanding, has Pym understood time travel he would have saved his wife a long time ago.

@ileo: explain the whole scene where Stark runs diagnostics untill he figures time travel out, explain how he wasn't the one who created the "time gps"

- City wide force fields capable of stopping meteors

- More advanced holo imaging than anything tony has shown. They can PHYSICALLY pick up and manipulate imaging while it is still a digital/physical hybrid object

- Clothing that can turn into force fields

- Advanced Cloaking tech (does Tony have cloaking tech?)

- Capable of reversing extreme brainwashing

- Cryosleep technology

- Heal bullet wounds in a day and gather vitals without you needing to be hooked up to machines.

-Kimoyo beads might be the best tech in all the MCU. Those beads can do everything from real life Holographic imaging, recording videos and communication, to stabilizing wounds. All in a bead the size of a dime.

Tony has great tech - his nano tech looks to be more versatile than Wakanda's, but his weapons systems really havent changed since iron man - repulsors, missiles, chest beams, lasers etc.

Pretty sure Tony stomps under these conditions.
