Mcu Thor (Post IW) Vs Wonder Woman (Post JL)

Thor one shots IF he can hit her with the Stormbreaker.

Otherwise expect a long ass fight ending in a stalemate. The issue is we dont know if Stormbreaker Thor is durable to piercing weapons. We know he can take the energy/heat of a star, survive a power stone detonation and has legitimate 1 shot power on anyone with stormbreaker, but could he survive being stabbed?

WWs only advantage is speed and Thor lightning aura can negate it. Diana would need to constantly fight off Thors lighting to fight him up close. And Thor can fly now and his bullrushes went through giant ships like butter. Thor stomps this.

They could potentially kill each other since both are weak to stabbing and slashing. WW does have a speed advantage and she has her AOE but now Thor can fly again and he has BFR through tping. I think I may lean Thor or stalemate. Thor became very impressive this movie.

Yes, Wonder Woman is still massively faster and has sufficient ap to cleave him. The argument is still the same. Thor didn't get any new reaction and speed feats, or piercing durability feats.

Thor has every single advantage besides speed over Diana which can't be negated, but dealt with using his lightning cloak. While Diana has absorbed Ares lightning she had to first block it with her bracers and then let it flow through her. There's no reason to assume she can just absorb lightning whenever it touches her body or that she can absorb it while still moving at top speed. When and IF she does/can absorb his lightning she's leaving herself open for an attack and Diana isn't walking off Stormbreaker to the chest. Thor wins with weapons and stomps her without weapons.

Cause if not could Thor become 30 new OP weapons and would obviously still lose.

I know but she can't no sell it either tho. Ripping off heads of normal humans would take literally tons of force and thats what Thors lighting was doing to Hela soldiers. It's obviously not one shotting, it would hardly even damage her but she doesn't have durability to straight up ignore it. And her fighting off lighting would be enough of a distraction to give Thor enough time to dodge or block. Thor is not a slowpoke either. He outspeeded Hulk who had subsonic feats and blocked supersonic projectiles in Dark World.

@marishtar: Hela who crushed mjolnir with his bare hands can't even put Thor down with multiple stabs and slashed, what will a weaker Diana would achieve? She try to stabbed Thor she'll leave herself open to get hit by stormbreaker and that is she won't get fry with Thor's lightning cloak or get spammed by the lightnings that passively comes down from the sky when Thor fought in the bifrost and wakanda.

He didn't get any new reaction or speed feats. He didn't get any new piercing feats. Wonder Woman blitzing and decapitating is still on the table. There is reason to believe she could dodge/block all of his strikes and she can still sever him.

Real gods don't need to dodge bullets. That's some half-human nonsense. Loke took like a full clip in the first Avengers movie, and it didn't even tickle him. Thor can easily react to laser beams fired from alien rifles. Multiple people shooting at him.

Again, the lightning cloak is not going to stop a sword through the chest or him being slice apart. Unless you show me some feats of it stopping physical attacks. Thor didn't even have a lightning cloak in the movie

In character she 100% is going to try and block stormbreaker with her shield and then counter, she gets one shot by trying to block stormbreaker.

For all those mentioning Thor's feats, please show him doing these things GS to any high tier character. Every major feat he has is against fodder. The best he's done is fight hulk fairly evenly in the arena.

Diana has taken far stronger hits than what thor throws out. You guys have yet to explain how he overcomes her power let alone hits her.

She consistently uses her speed in battle, counters and attacks nearly simultaneously, and can dodge gunfire close range from multiple angles but slow Thor is supposed to land a hit on her. Ok.......not.

Current Thor dominates. Lol he nearly one-shotted Thanos with all the gems.

she doesnt need to be stronger. She faster and her wapons would slice thor. If the battle strating distance is large thor wins, if it small range diana could blitz cut his head of. People dramatically overrate thor post IW.

Considering Thanos with the infinity gauntlet was kind of underwhelming and Thor only got one good hit on him. I’m gonna have to say Wonder Woman still beats Thor. You guys bring up the fact that Thor one shot Thanos, but forget that with 5 gems he was about to be beat by Tony Peter and half the guardians and even with the attack to the chest he still survived. Also Thor taking a small portion of that army of aliens on Wakanda isn’t anything new or special. He’s done stuff like that before. Don’t let the hype get in the way of your judgement.
