MCU Thor or MCU Black Panther: who is faster?

Thor still competing with street tiers on speed even in live action.

T'Challa is a legit bullet timer. So, reflexes goes to him.

I don't think there is any substantial combat speed gap between them.

In a race, T'Challa has better feats, but Thor logically should be able to run much faster. But this is something fiction ignores a lot, so i'd say T'Challa.

@mr_shazam0920: Black Panther is a much better character, with a better character arc than any of Thor's and a better suit just in his first movie but i'd say they are about even in speed.

I guess BP is more of a speedster.

T'Challa can casually catch Hawkeye's arrows and can seemingly react to a bullet in the tie-in comics. Thor can react to Malekith's Aether attacks which were breaking the sound barrier. Logically, I think Thor should have the edge here, but their feats are similar

• Combat

I'm not too familiar with Black Panther's combat speed feats, but as we see in AOU, Thor has fought at speeds comparable to Hawkeye's arrows, and I'm fairly sure that's better than anything T'Challa has done

• Perception

Thor seemed to see Pietro running towards him and threw Mjolnir in his direction. I don't think there's anything comparable for Black Panther

Do you have an issue with scaling Thor to Hawkeye's arrow that we see here? (It's near the middle of the screen as QS is avoiding Steve's shield throw)

It appears to be moving at around the same pace as Thor is, which should be better than BP's combat speed feats

Right as Pietro drops down to dodge Steve's shield throw, the arrow is visible flying towards the Ultron bot on the ground. The arrow is near the top center of the screen

Ah. It's one of the better speed feats in the MCU, IMO

@rbt: Eh, it's a little difficult to be sure. I'd say there are probably two or three that are on a similar level: Hulk making Abomination look like a statue, one of Thanos' speed feats in Endgame, and Thor throwing Mjolnir at Quicksilver before he could travel about 40 feet. There are other impressive feats, but those are a few

Thor. He doesn't always use his speed to the fullest, but he can block individual energy blasts from Chitauri (not just hold the hammer in front if him and hope it hits), the Destroyer's beam, Hela's blades, etc. Black Panther is fast but nothing he's done so far is better than what Thor has done in terms of combat speed. He can catch arrows, but so can Loki, who is skilled, but Thor's inferior in almost all categories except magic and cold resistance.

※In a race Black panther is way faster. Infact Prime Thor could not catch up with injured Captain America.

※In combat, Black panther fights faster.

※Reaction wise, they are virtually equals with slight majority to Thor.

Thor. Though I find it hilarious how Black Panther's the only non-TV non-speeder to have a clear bullet timing feat, and he's slower than Slowdinson.

Black Panther cutting a bullet in half is more quantifiable than any of Thor's speed feats.
