MCU Thor (IW) vs DCEU General Zod

@darkthunder: Zod is at least in the same tier as Thor, and in my opinion he is greater than Thor in every category except versatility. Strength, durability, striking, skill, name anything but versatility and I’m certain I can prove Zod is equal to or greater than Thor in that category. The only thing keeping Thor afloat against Zod is his lightning, and even so I don’t think it guarantees Thor a victory.

His skill and lightning didn't seem to help against Thanos.

Thor was not able to tag him once.

a bloodlusted thanos is doomsday level so its no anti feat. thanos has been warmongering for 1000 year o he is far above zod in skill. thor destroyed highly trained hield agents while zod lost to an untrained and inexperienced superman

He's in the same tier as Zod and he would lose due to the speed gap.

That's a feat for Superman.

Zod has superior speed, superior durability, superior striking, flight and HV. And Thor would have lots of troubles just perceiving Zod alone, let alone tagging him.

If we're taking the feats from the official novelization of Man of Steel like we tend to do with the link in comics then Zod should win pretty easily.

If not then it's a much tougher fight especially since OP's conditions are that Zod hasn't fully adapted. But can't agree with people suggesting Zod isn't at least in the same strength tier as Thor. Not with Zod having feats that put him in the multi-hundred thousand ton tier.

Zod is more durable in term of piercing and blunt force and he's too fast for Thor.

Hulk is not even faster than a car in term of combat speed. Thor was able to block projectiles yes but it's very different than reacting to someone with hypersonic combat speed.

Thor has never faced nor reacted to a single individual of DCEU Zod's caliber in term of speed. And there's also HV.

Hulk is literally an out of control rage monster, with no skill. He totally lacks focus and his attacks are juvenile. HV has destroyed multiple skyscrapers.

Given Thor managed to stand in front of the Nidavellir Star and withstand the heat for about a minute i don't think Heat Vision would do much to him. It would take prolonged exposure for at least the same length of time to hurt Thor which i couldn't see happening in a battle.

Detective is lying, that energy vaporized Frost Giants, so the explosion most definitely has feats.

Thor plows through him without a appreciable drop in speed.

I'll wait for energy durability feats from Zod.

Thor still wins this with relative ease. While Zod is the faster of the two, Thor has a skill edge which helps bridge the speed gap a bit. Striking and Durability also go to Thor, and lightning makes this fight almost unfair

How does Thor lack durability? His durability feats are comfortably above Zod's.

Zod isn’t very skilled. He is supposed to be the damn general of Krypron’s army and got his shit kicked in by Jor El. Just horrible writing there. He only looked decent against Superman because Superman had just learned who he was, and had never fought in his life.

BvS and JL Superman would decimate Zod.
