- Standard Gear.
Both are good fights. I know May is a lot more skilled than Frank but his skill is still underrated, and Frank does have advantages in durability, size and strength. His striking power is also enough to knock Daredevil to the ground with a punch through his bulletproof helmet. She is faster too but I always fall back on the fact that he was able to tag Daredevil and that Daredevil himself said he was fast to prove he can tag street level martial artists or at least grab them, which is what he needed to do to land a hit on Matt at first. May will also have a hard time actually knocking him out, considering Fisk did not cause him any injury after beating on him.
For round 2, May is going to be a hard target due to her agility and aim dodging. But at the end of the day Frank is more accurate, wears a bulletproof vest as his standard gear, and is a lot better with guns. May may be cavalry in hand to hand but Frank is like a SEAL team when it comes to guns.
This comes down to a few factors for me.
May's great with pistols, though Frank is also really good. They're pretty comparable, though with differing styles. Frank has a great quickdraw feat & loves to overwhelm enemies with suppressive fire, but May is generally better at shooting while in motion & she's also ambidextrous in dual wielding.
Her quickdraw is good as well.
The major obstacle she'll have to overcome is the fact that Frank is as accurate as she is, and he generally uses weapons that have a much higher rate of fire.
She can also flip through gunfire:
Her speed and agility are top-notch.
IMO, it really comes down to speed vs suppression.
@the_magister: Just becuase May doesn't prefer to use higher caliber guns doesn't mean she doesn't know how. She was teaching Daisy how to fight sniper rifles. (Meaning she had to have gone through training with them herself). She's also compared to Ward and Widow a bunch and they're both expert weapons specialists and are exceptional gun handlers. May has gone through (mostly) the same training regime as them and has even been referred to have been cut by the same cloth as them.
Anyway I think you said it best yourself here

While Frank spams suppressive fire, May's gonna come out and do something like this
This is all based off of the Punisher I know from DD and his solo series though. So who knows maybe he did get significantly better in S2. I wouldn't really know.

He didn't say she that doesn't know how, he pointed out that Frank's standard gear usually includes weapons with a much higher fire-rate, which is true. May's ability to use semi-automatic rifles/carbines and the like isn't relevant if she doesn't have them.
@the_magister: exactly dude, castle wasnt made to be d best Martial artist but he can hold his own combined with his master fire arms expertise he is top notch, and I Hav a feeling it will come down to tolerance I see castle taking multiple shots and still standing, while after a few rounds may will go down, cause dey both great shooter and dey will tag each other, I mean did u see castle pain tolerance one might even say it clearly surpasses matt own ,I think he even has d best in live action right now
