I don’t keep up with these shows anymore, but if I had to pick, I’d go with team 1

Team 1 handily.

I'm sure most people are looking at this and thinking the only one that can't beat their respective rival 1v1 is Jessica.

My thinking is, Dex can potentially take out both Jessica and Danny. Daredevil can't beat Bushmaster or Alisa, possibly not even Davos. Danny could take out any but only if he's smart and aggressive with the Fist, whereas if he doesn't use the Fist well, he could pretty much lose to anyone. Jessica could only really take out Dex or maybe once in a blue moon Davos in H2H. And Alisa, Davos and Bushmaster are all tough enough to put a dent in Luke. If the other team members go down team 2 could easily overwhelm Luke.

Jessica's the only one who can't beat her counterpart for the majority.

Although looking on it again, Danny is current so we don't even really know his powerset or capabilities at the moment.

@amendment50: I mean he already beat Davos without his chi I don't see why that would change

@americanspeeddemon: I agree but we don't know if he has the Fist now or not and don't know what the chi guns can do. So I don't know how he would fare against the others.

I think Matt shouldn't be underestimated here assuming he has his Billy Club. He is a much better fighter than any of the villains and could potentially inflict good damage and even put them down if he strangles them with the fiber wire. I'm thinking he can give any of them the Nobu treatment if it comes down to it, and while superhuman stats would normally easily counter that, it won't be easy due to the disparity in skill/agility.

But that's a good point about Danny and Jessica potentially been taken out by Dex, I think people don't account the all out brawl factor in these types of battles a lot, but a marksman in team fights is incredibly dangerous and can quickdraw take out most opponents.

Team 2. Dex is lethal at long range, and with two heavy hitters here, he could likely just stay on the outside and barrage everyone with his outstanding aim while they do the dirty work. Davos is good enough to hang with anyone here. Team 1 do have a major advantage in that they have superior teamwork, but it's a question of how effective it'd be.

Team 2

@anthp2000: I absolutely agree Matt can outfight any of the villains, even Davos. But ultimately I just can't see Matt putting much of a dent in Bushmaster or Alisa.

The good Defenders

The environment matters some, too. Luke could potentially get BFR/KO'd by getting knocked out of the arena. It's easy to imagine a situation where Davos Iron Fists him off the roof and sends him plummeting however many stories, possibly to his death. Whereas I couldn't see the Defenders trying the same sort of tactic unless half of them were taken out and they turned bloodlusted as per OP. Iron Fist shockwaves could be an issue as well (on both sides) since there is no real cover here.

Team 2.

Bushmaster and Luke Cage are 50/50. Favor towards Bushmaster due to lack of knowledge.

Alisa > Jessica

Danny = Davos. (Advantage Danny)

Daredevil > Dex (However, Dex martial arts isn't that bad and, due to lack of knowledge, could stay behind to pick people off.)

Evil win.

@lightyagami1000 by current versions do you mean chi-gun Danny? Because we really don't have a lot to go off with him.

Evil Defenders. As much as I like most of the good counterparts, they get whooped. Luke vs. Bushmaster would end like their first encounter, and with no knowledge as others have pointed out Luke would likely underestimate him and get KO'd (@anthp2000 I finally admitted he would lose a battle lol) or thrown off the building. Alisa has already proven to be Jessica's superior, so she takes her without much of a scuffle. Dex vs. Matt could go either way (I still haven't seen season 3), and the same goes with Davos and Danny.

@lightyagami1000 by the way, does Bushmaster have his Double-Dose Nightshade Amp or nah?

Villains. The heroes have lost against them one on one more often than not.

Seriously though, this would be a good CaV. Just change the location, and change the stipulations so that everyone is morals off.
