@ready_4_madness: honestly..
I feel like people are only saying Thanos because it’s Thanos. Faora would body him.
Do you think her punches will hurt him? Can she avoid being hit by his sword?
It's not a stomp. But Thanos was and is surprisingly durable. Moreover, with a sword that could destroy vibranium , he can definitely damage her or take her out with some good hits.
Probably comes down to speed, reaction-time and skill. I am assuming Faoras kryptionian knife is strong enough to pierce and cut into Thanos as well.
^ This. Faora wins. Thanos is too slow
Speed wins races, it doesn't win fights. There has never been one fight in this forum or comics that someone has actually proven that ( even with speedster it's generally tactics that win out). Bullrushes and Speedblitezs happen so infrequently and they rarely if ever end an encounter unless PIS. As a matter of fact no matter how fast she was in the movie, she still lost, and she was technically faster than Superman in Man of Steel. She lost to a missle which was slower than her. It's a default for people who can't debate a character.
Regardless of how fast she is, she can't hurt him, and Captain Marvel is Faster than her, she is a matter of fact Faster than Light character, and still he was not able to out pace Thanos who threw his weapon faster than she was able to move, to stop her from getting the gantlet to the microverse machine in the van. Thanos is not slow he's just big. He reacted to every energy thrown at him and none of it hit him except Capt's Lightning, and she still beat the crap out of Capt after that. He has way better strength and durability feats over her, and it's highly likely given his feats he will be able to react to her and land several blows to KO her.
@namebk: in the long run yes and if she can dodge A-10 bullets then she can do the same to a sword.
I was thinking with his reaction feats he should be able to react to her. He also seems to be more skilled in h2h.

Oh here we go. Another downplayer who apparently watched the movie with his/her eyes closed. Faora was weakened by the sensory overload and that is why she was KO'd
Carrol is FTL in travel speed, not combat. Her CQC skirmish with Thanos supports this
@ready_4_madness: Or because Faora has no chance of hurting Thanos. Tell me, what's her best striking and durability feat again?
I feel like people are only saying Thanos because it’s Thanos. Faora would body him.
@ready_4_madness: Her durability is relevant because Thanos will tag her. All Thanos needs is one hit and she's down for the count.
Yeah and knocking Superman down did absolutely nothing to him at all. Her next best striking feats is one shotting army soldiers which is the equivalent of me one shotting a toddler.
@ready_4_madness: exactly my thought
@ready_4_madness: And it didn't hurt him. In fact the only things that hurt Thanos was Scarlet Witch.
Thanos in a weakened state tanked Marvel's bullrush and her bullrushing is literally how she destroys big ass spaceships. Faora cannot hurt Thanos.
Faora can be tagged by fodder soldiers. Thanos is easily tagging her and she will get one shot as her durability is non-existent.
@ready_4_madness: Because Thanos tanked it.
"Faora let the soldiers shoot her because she knew it wouldn't harm her"
I didn't know you could read minds.
Can you even quantify how fast Superman was during his H2H fight with Faora?
A tricky one tbh, thanos has the power to hurt faora but faora has the speed to evade. Its going to be a long ass fight thats for sure cuz faora can't damage thanos all that much, her only option is gradually wearing him down. But if he does tag her (grab her or something) she is in trouble. So I don't know tbh.
@ready_4_madness: Yet people in the restaurant could still react to what they were seeing.
Absorbed the attack is pretty much the same thing as tanked which is what he did. There would also be no reason on her going easy on him since she knows what he can do with the stones.
Lol no. What happened was she got tagged because she isn't as fast as you want her to be.
@ready_4_madness: The second Superman and Faora started punching each other you could hear people screaming. They could clearly see what was going on.
Ofc because you think something has be visually more destructive to be considered better, but it doesn't work like that. Give me one good reason why her bullrush would be weaker against someone who has 6 Infinity Stones that wiped out half of all life and killed her friend Fury.
That's not the point and you know it. Try again.
@ready_4_madness: Except when they crashed through the IHop no one screamed. Only started when they engaged in H2H. Watch it for yourself https://youtu.be/FIB9viH_6ww Also you can Superman wasn't hitting at mach speeds nor was Faora when she was deflecting. Only thing that broke sound was Faora's punch.
Wrong. They only didn't know the Stones were missing once Stormbreaker sliced through Thanos arm. They fully believed he still had them on. So got a better reason?
Power scaling in the MCU is horrid. One minute, Thanos is casually stronger than the Hulk. The next, spiderman is restraining one of his arms and iron man the other. One scene, thanos is physically overpowering Thor. The next, Cap survives a direct blow even though his entire frickin' face should have exploded and his body been sent flying. The dude isn't even bulletproof but he can take full force blows from a guy stronger than THOR?! Thor, who was casually flying thru outrider war vessels durable enough to tank atmospheric entry, a force LEAGUES stronger than a bullet. If Hulk were to hit captain america, cap would've been sent flying. But when Thanos does it, he just falls to the ground. They do this for style and budget, but it makes these battles subjective crapshoots. Based on his performance against higher tier characters, he should be super strong. But based on his performance against mid- and street- tier heroes, he honestly isn't that impressive.
But even given his best feats, he has no response to Faora's speed hax, which she consistently employs in battle in character. And as for consistency, Faora is consistently high tier strength. But the point is, Kryptonian super speed applies to combat speed and perception as well. He should honestly be a statue to her. This isn't like CM at all bc Faora's speed applies to her perception and combat speed. He doesn't just have to react to her running at him. He'd have to keep up with her physical speed and processing ability, which he can't do. Against a bloodlusted Faora, he gets floored
