Thanos doesn't need to snap his fingers to use the Stones on a local level (I think its just to employ them on a universal level, kinda like a safety on a gun)- however, from what we see, he does need to clench a fist.
Without a starting distance, isn't default like 10-30ft? Without a larger minimum distance, as people have mentioned some characters here can potentially win before Thanos could clench his fist (the thread kinda becomes a reaction speed mismatch at that point). With that said, whats to stop him starting the battle with his fist already clenched? (that's what I'd be doing if going "all out", wouldn't everyone?)
If Thanos can pick which stones he uses for each fight and start with a clenched fist, he can arguably clear with just 4 stones (and could possibly clear all fights with just Mind, Power, Reality and Time), so having all 6 stones is probably unnecessary
Regardless, anyone here who is not a speedster, kryptonian or cosmic entity is essentially irrelevant;
The Darhks' magic wont do anything, Damian needed like 30k souls just to boost his TK to even approach the kind of stuff Doctor Strange was doing- and Strange's magic was all either, absorbed, broken or tanked by the Power stone. Darhk's life drain was meh and wasn't even an instant-kill to baseline humans, so its not gonna help him. Mallus was a joke who was beaten by a stuffed animal, Thanos would annihilate him like the trash that he was.
The Legends of Tomorrow- I stopped watching but last time I saw it, the only thing the team was any good at was having a diverse range of sexual orientations- their magic is laughable, only Constantine can really pull it out and he needs prep to do anything close to significant- if Strange couldn't do it on the spot, John doesn't have a hope. Barring Constantine, Wally and Firestorm, most of the team are irrelevant fodder with weak powers and skill sets who would be owned by Thanos even without the stones.
