MCU Taskmaster vs. MCU Black Sky

Elektra wins. I forgot the Red Guardian fight, so maybe there’s some juice there to say TM can trade some blows, but I’d still back Elektra holding her own against the Defenders over that feat.

She’s a skilled fighter, if Widow can edge her out, Elektra can too. Widow has NEVER done what Sky has; I’m not even sure how this is a fair fight without PIS.

TM can't predict moves. She can mimic any move she sees. What you're talking about is pre cog.

@rbt: No she can definitely predict moves and did so. In Taskmaster's helmet's heads-up display are the words "predict %".

@dre_savage: In the second Taskmaster vs Black Widow fight, Taskmaster's prediction algorithm was glitching as shown on the heads-up display of her helmet when Nat got her out from the cell. This hindered her ability to predict her opponent's next move, or maybe even made her completely unable to do so (can't be sure about that tho) and made the fight more fair for Natasha. In their first fight, her predict % was at 99.98%.

So does Black Sky have something to counter Taskmaster's prediction algorithm? I just want to know.

To answer your question, no. Heck, I don’t think any street levelers in DCEU or MCU off the top of my head do (have a counter for what you’re saying TM did).

Thing is, some (like Elektra), don’t need a counter, if they’re able to defeat the opponent using other strengths. Black Sky fighting the Defenders shows she’s a notch or two above Tasky.

@rbt: Look back at their first fight. She blocked, dodged and countered Nat every time she went on the offensive. She even blocked, dodged and countered some of Widow's sneak attacks. I don't know what you think predicting an opponent's next move looks like exactly.

@ashconwell: I mean, that could just be TM being more skilled than Nat. But even if we go with the assumption that TM was predicting Nat's moves, we can't assume she can do the same to someone significantly more skilled than her. That would be NLF.

@ashconwell: I have no idea how strong they are. Electra is really inconsistent and Taskmaster is arguably not physically enhanced but probably is but definitely not Captain America level.

Black Sky is stronger though.

@zafros13: Ah I see. Although I don't see how Taskmaster is arguably not-enhanced. Her only anti-feat was when she was choking Natasha and Nat broke out of her hold. Which can either be seen as: an outlier given all of her other strength feats, just a really good strength feat for Natasha or she didn't have a good grip on Natasha.
