Peter doesn't fight competently nor use his abilities very well. Might have something to do with being so young, but I can't see him taking down someone as ruthless as The Lizard. Especially if he had a hard time with Captain America & Vulture.
Its not even that MCU Spidey is weak, its just that Webbs Lizard is really damn strong. Garfield Spidey would've been slaughtered by Lizard if he didnt have the cure.
Lizard stomps, you cant even web up Lizard he gets out of webbing in like 10 seconds and Lizard will just heal from whatever Peter does to him. Lizards also really agile and again, strong.
Peter never actually even beat Toomes and is still far too inexperienced to fight the foes Garfield and Tobey did. That might change after Infinity War and we can see his powers with Stark's Iron spider suit, though
TASM spidey was a better fighter than the MCU one, had better reaction feats and still basically lost every fight to Lizard because he could not put him down even with the deus ex liquid nitrogen in the picture. MCU spidey dies.
Watched their fight scene and when Connors was chasing Ned and Mj he was swatting him away like a fly. Granted the clip I saw was low quality but I thought he was way more beefy then his previous version he also tanked that massive crane part falling on him

Can’t see how people think the Lizard wins this. Holland has canonically fought him on-screen and he won that fight. I get disliking Holland’s Spider-man and feeling like his feats aren’t very visually impressive; but he’s literally won this fight on-screen
@hc03: The Lizard attacks Holland’s friends (while his ribs are broken mind you) and Holland wrangles him away, and then later swings in and absolutely floors him with a kick that he doesn’t get back up from if I recall correctly.
From what I've seen in the new no way home movie the lizard dominated MCU spiderman. I don't care what you MCU fanboys think. even TASM spidey put up a much better fight. Even if he had his iron spidey suit it wouldn't make much of a difference seeing as how he couldn't even beat doc ock with it.
@thegamerpage: lol what movie were you watching? he didn't beat him in combat mcu spiderman was getting beat by tasm and raimi villians. just cause he hit the lizard and knocked him over or whatever does not mean he necessarily did any lasting damage to him(the lizard has a wolverine level healing factor.). spiderman also hit and staggered thanos, but it didn't seem to bother thanos and he wasn't even hurt. he only won by using the damn cure, had it not been for that he would have died
@deactivated-62ab9548f1f9a: he has prep so he can just cure him. Also spidey is faster. And has Webs to keep him occupied. He also might just be able to beat him down like he did Norman.
Tasm spidey didn’t put up a much better fight both got thrown. Both were able to knock him away and hurt him with their hits. Plus mcu was also injured with broken ribs. So he’s weakened. and he did beat doc ock with it even without all of the suits capabilities.
Plus doc ock is like really strong he overpowered tobey and Andrew at the same time. Like they were struggling against his tentacle and couldn’t get them off until he let go.
they struggles cause they were being electrocuted duh. go back and watch raimi spiderman fight against ock then watch the mcu spiderman fight.
doc ock arms are not stronger than raimi spiderman, did you not watch spiderman 2 when ock used all four arms to try and crush spidey at the bank. and he just broke free from them.
you can clearly see a big difference in strength and power, not to mention the mcu spiderman had the damn iron suit and still couldn't beat ock. tasm spidey did do much better than the mcu spiderman seriously are you people even watching the move or just gushing over tom holland. tasm spidey even tanked electros electricity longer than mcu spiderman.
@coolerdbz50: they stopped getting electrocuted and still couldn’t break free, while still struggling against Ock. Also in Spider-Man 2, tobey only overpowered the tentacles once and got overpowered in every encounter afterwards. He loses every tug of war with them.
Tom never had the opportunity to get hit The blast as long as Andrew did but he did handle the short burst electricity blast just as well as Andrew did.
And Tom did beat ock with the iron spider suit it’s why ock got captured.
@coolerdbz50: they can mean different things. But beating people does also mean winning. And he beat up goblin anyway, so what I’m saying he is he can win or beat the raimi and tasm villains just like they beat their villains.
@hoopla001: barely and this is an older goblin, and while he was fighting the goblin clearly wasn't taking it seriously he was laughing. but when he fought rami spiderman he begged him to stop punching him. the other spidermans are on different levels compared to mcu spiderman.

And he didn’t barely beat him up he beat the crap out of him.
And goblin only did that to trick tobey into thinking he gave up.
goblin never had the chance to do it with the mcu spidey he was out of it from getting the crap beat out of him And needed to recover.
All the Spider-Men are at a similar level with Tom having an advantage with his tech. And goblin was taking it just as serious as he took tobey. He wasn’t laughing while fighting him. The only time he laughed was after he recovered for 37 seconds. He taunted tobey as well in their fight.
He performed just as well as they did against the villains. Defeating them in much less time under similar circumstances. Plus he handled getting hit with a pumpkin bomb better than tobey.
@hoopla001: mcu spiderman has an advantage with tech, yet he has almost never utilized it in any of the damn movies. they are not all on the sam damn level and you know that the fact raimi and tasm spiderman can tank way more damage than mcu spiderman and did better against the villians than he did should tell you that. he did not perform just as well as the others, you can't honestly think that.
Show me one example of them taking way more damage than Tom. Whenever ever they get hit by the same attack they all have the same reaction to it or Tom handles it better
you can’t honestly think they aren’t in the same level.
He tanked electros electricity just like tobey and andrew. He beat up goblin, knocked away the lizard. Dodged electricity like Andrew.
Tanked a goblin bomb better than tobey,
And he uses his tech in everyone of his movies, when he has access to it he uses it.
Given his regular arsenal he would have performed even better than he Did in nwh.
All the Spidey’s as of now are pretty equal, with maybe slight advantages and disadvantages going to each one. Regardless, Lizard fought all three in the final battle, and none of them were able to do much to put him down. Andrew restrained him, but Tobey and Tom were kind of getting ragdolled around, even if they did land hits on him. I don’t really see a way for any of them to permanently take him out without prep like a cure. His regen is too good, and his strength and speed are comparable if not better.
