Isn't MCU cap stronger than 616?

I think only in lifting strength. In striking 616 Cap is stronger.

Cap is obviously much weaker than MCU Spidey, but strength isn't everything. Cap's skill has let him do well against 616 Spidey.

So if Cap can do well against the stronger, faster, and much more skilled 616 Spidey, he should be able to even better against MCU Spidey.

No he isn't. I'm not sure where this myth arose from. 616 has superior strength feats and scaling.

Spite match, 616 Cap slaughters. He's fought FAR worse odds and won and has fought FAR more experienced Spider-Men.

He's also got ridiculous feats in the comics, far above MCU, all resulting in him completely obliterating MCU Spidey.

616 Cap can throw his shield hard enough to slice off the hatch of a tank and is evidently also a bullet timer.

He could very well win.

616 Captain America stomps due to plot power, which is his stronger power.

The answer here is pretty much the same as every other comics vs. LA thread.

By all measures of logic and reason, Spider-Man wins.

By feats, Cap wins.

And everybody knows which is more important here.

Realistically, Spider-Man would win.

Comic Peak Humans are insanely fast. So it doesn’t means shit that they can react to his shield. They might as well be faster than Peter.

Hell, Comic Cap has fought 616 Spider-Man MULTIPLE times. A duplicate of Peter struggled with Cap. Among more things. 616 Peter would fold all 3 LA Spider-Men AND their villains too.

Yes.

He would fold cap too, but he looks up to him and holds back even more than normal. And he's also studied his fighting style, MCU doesn't have the same blinders for Cap(though this isn't his cap anyway) and doesn't have the same fighting style so the comparison is null.

616 Peter is definitely faster than all 3 Spider-Men and would fold them. Considering Peter recently fought a shit ton of his villains. When the trio struggled against weaker villains in a smaller number. Even if we pretend that Peter is as fast as his LA counterparts. 616 Peter is stronger and more skilled than all of his LA versions.

I'm pretty sure Spidey was trained by Shang-Chi and created an entire martial art with him called "the way of the spider".

MCU Parker is a 500 tonner that lightning times that can punch with the force of building level pumpkin bombs, with feats that show 616 Parker is no faster or stronger than the live action version…huh? I mean even if comic Parker were at least a 500 tonner, he’d have no problem hurting Rhino every time…or doing more than hurting his hands punching Hercules, needing to web his hand to KO Tombstone, or being capable of knocking Wolverine out consistently, or his physically superior clone in Kaine wouldn’t be hurting his hand on Logan’s skull. I’ve seen nothing to suggest MCU Parker is doing things comparable like bracing a landing plane, finger flicking a massive truck over, shredding the street with a punch to Venom. He’s not moving fast enough to blitz through Avenger’s Mansion so fast no guards, Hawkeye, Wanda and security could pick him up until Quicksilver got him, blitz Mongoose, or even Daredevil probably for that matter. Hell, comic Parker even out swung bullets then caught them before passing out from the shock. I don’t see MCU Parker being capable of taking more hits than 616 Peter has, Rhino, Hulk, Thing, Juggernaut, Angrir, Hercules, P5 Colossus, Namor etc. A lot of that has to do with his willpower, but point being he managed to retain consciousness. Those characters could’ve misted him if they fully tried, but again, he’s tooken their hits and still managed to fight.

And to be fair, 616 Cap has tagged Parker in at least 2 fights that I remember. An older fight and the fight in Civil War, where he managed to lure Peter in with his shield throw before he basically nerve punched him.

Outside of some questionable scaling and misconstruing, you really can’t argue MCU Peter is in anyway even stat wise with his 616 counterpart when he himself was bloodlusted and was given a fight by Dafoe Goblin, who while strong enough to face Tobey Spidey, has been beaten by him and Tobey stopped MCU Peter with the glider.

With that said, I’m fine with the possibility of MCU Parker beating Cap, but some of the reasonings and claims here are pretty out there.
