@rbt: where would you rank Shang chi in terms of H2H. I rank Him above characters like DCEU Batman , Widow and Nolan Bane but Below Characters like Matt, Danny & Ollie imo

Same. I'd rate him just below Black Sky in skill. Probably a peer of Danny. Maybe just inferior given how you interpret his fight with BS in Defenders first episode.

@rbt: i dont think hes a peer of danny at all, i dont remember Shang fighting several trained members at once.also he doesnt have a feat fighting an enhanced character like Danny and Matt did ( Hand members-Black sky). True he is more skilled than DCEU/MCU Characters but thats pretty much it. i think he would beat Nyssa or DCEU Batman at most. Characers like ollie and Super soldiers would mop the floor with him

Wdym? he took on like 8 when he was 14. They had him surrounded and even sorta coordinated.

Agreed as well unless he gets the armor, in which case he is just way too durable.

@rbt: did armor increase his durability? iirc it was the rings that enhanced him. also yea i forgot about teen shang feat lol.

He was taking some insane shots. Going from getting hurt by falls to tanking what he tanked in the span of the final fight scene and the fact that they especially pointed out the dragon scales made a really good armor, I think it definitely boosted his durability.

Yeah, agreed. He would beat Ollie, but super soldiers is a weird case because while I don't think they can put him down, I also don't think Shang hits hard enough to put them down. So, super-soldiers could probably still win via submission.

@rbt: yeah true. his durability increases but his other stats remain the same and he cant hurt super soldiers with strikes. it would be a toss up on the best case for him. and considering he never used grappling techniques Super soldiers ( at least Cap) have a better chance at winning. but isnt Ollie use grappling against enhanced characters like Stardust and won? he still have a chance imo.

He would, but I wouldn't argue that for a majority. he can probably take a couple of wins based on that.

Duo wins, one of them beats the side kick while one engages Shang, then they team up to beat Shang.

r1 with low-mid difficult.
r2 It’s a stomp.

Round 1: Shang Chi team wins. Xialing and Razorfist can stalemate Matt while Shang high diffs Danny, then he uses what he has left to help his team wrap up Matt.

Round 2: Shang Chi team stomps. Dragon scale armor can protect against the IF, the rope dart and staff give them range.

R1. Shang and Xialing are enough assuming no IF for Danny and if you give him IF it's only fair to give Shang air bending to even it out.

Skill wise Shang is by far the best and Xialing isn't that far behind to be a burden.

R2. Shang solos with the rings.
