MCU Punisher Runs an Assassination Gauntlet

Rules:

• In-Character but determined to kill
• He has 48 hour prep, Micro's help and full knowledge
• Opponents have no idea they are being targeted
• Frank wins if he successfully assassinates his opponent; loses if they survive and find/beat him (by Incap, KO or Death)
• Opponents are in the same scenario and location as the scenes they are pictured in below
• For the Final Round he has Kryptonite Bullets. Assume they would work if they successfully hit
• How far can he get and why?

The Gauntlet:

1. Nick Fury
2. Wanda
3. Spider-Man (Tobey)
4. Wonder Woman
5. Superman

He has absolutely no chance of assassinating any of them, and tbh, Fury should probably be higher. Frank operates on a city scale at best, that's respectable - for his own tier.

Isn't killing Fury. Dude's got enough security to stop Frank in his tracks. Wanda would be killed through, Tobey Spiderman would die, and WW and Superman smack Frank around with astounding ease.

If he could get all the correct gear to Assassinate each character, he would surely clear

So you don't think Frank can snipe these people when they don't even know they are being targeted? OP says they are in the scenarios they are in in their pictures too, so they are literally just chilling at some diner. Easy snipes.

Given the stipulations in the OP, Frank would have no trouble assasinating nearly all of them. Ironically the only one he wouldn't be able to assassinate is Nick Fury, who for some reason is first on the gauntlet.

He could possibly snipe Fury and Wanda.

He's not sniping Tobey due to spider-sense, Wonder Woman due to speed or Clark due to super hearing/speed. And he's not capable of taking any of them out in an up close encounter.

Lol at clearing. How would he shoot Sup or WW while they have super speed and they can easily dodge anything Frank throws ?

Also he gets stomped by Spiderman easily. He should kill Wanda, but Fury won't be easily killed. I give that 50/50 chance.

If it's Fury at his peak he stops at 1, he was pretty untouchable. Hydra sent their full-force best assassin at him and he escaped. We don't know a ton about Fury in the MCU, but he is supposed to be the super-spy. If he wants to drop off the radar, it'll be tough for anybody to get him, and given that he's in constant undercover mode post TWS, there's a good chance Frank never finds him.

Squads of guys with semi-automatics and battering rams couldn't get through his car. And then there's getting the intel to actually know his location. And then isolating him when he's alone. All in 48 hours.

I'd say he can clear or stops at Superman.

Fury's scenario is almost too easy - he's watching people get dusted and is completely distracted. Easy shot for Frank.

Wanda just won't see him coming, like Fury. She did contain an explosion, but that was when she was close enough and fully aware of her surroundings, unlike this situation.

Tobey has never properly reacted to gunfire or anything nearly as fast, a surprise sniper shot should land.

Wonder Woman has shown to get tagged by normal humans if she's distracted, so instead of the stock of a gun hitting her in the head, it'll be a bullet passing right through.

Superman's hard to tell, although I'd count on him just not expecting someone to choose to shoot him during the middle of the day. His senses might be able to alert him, but with so much sound coming from the busy street he's walking past, it's dubious to say he could react to it. Indecisive on this one.

Frank's never done anything like that though, just walk through the middle of the street in daylight and blow somebody away with an RPG in a crowded environment. It's not his MO. And he has to find Fury first, which means good intel, tracking his routes, finding where and when he can isolate him. Then he has to prep. He has 48 hours. I don't see him pulling it off.

Spidey is the only one he most likely doesn't clear, he has no way around spidey sense. Then again he's never dodged anything as fast as a bullet with it, IIRC.

Supes doesn't keep his senses up all the time, people think this is the same as Supes against Frank in a straight up fight. Clark isn't going to see this coming.

The rest are easy.

If Tobey can react to Norman's Glider, he can most certainly dodge a damn bullet.

I like Frank, but Punisher fans are unreasonable around CV.

yeah and if you look at the scenario, it's right before agent hill gets dusted. he'll be watching her die.

hell, he might even get dusted before frank can take the shot.

But it's not his M.O. at all to just start firing RPGs in NYC in crowded areas. He's not gonna do that. And he has to get intel to know about Fury's armoured SUV. Fury and Hill are still undercover at this point, how does he even find the world's leading espionage specialist when he's gone dark? In addition he has to find out where he'll be going, when and what gear he has? It doesn't seem feasible within the 48 hour time-limit.

@granitevision: With full knowledge of Fury, Frank isn't going to go in guns blazing. He's much more apt to snipe as we've seen him do it several times.

Assuming he can locate Fury (I think Micro can help him in this instance), his best bet is to try to snipe him when he exits his vehicle but before he goes into whatever building he's going to enter. Fury is too paranoid to stay exposed for long.

@kingofwakanda: It depends on his equipment.If he has anti armor weapons he should not wait till Fury exits his vehicle.

Could possibly stop at 1, depends on how good Nick actually is. Otherwise stops at 3. Wanda is the only round with no hopes at all of surviving.

R1: Fury wins 10/10. I'm pretty sure this is the A3 post credits scene, so either Fury turns to dust and Frank fails, or they both turn to dust and Frank fails.

R2: If Punisher had full knowledge on where Spidey was going to be in advance, he could rig the place with explosives and combine it with long range sniper fire. That gives him a 6/10 since I think there's a possibility Spider Sense goes off as soon as he enters the location. If not, Frank only gets 2/10

R3: Frank wrecks her 10/10, Wanda has no chance.

R4: If Diana isn't expecting it I think Frank could possibly tag her with a long range sniper shot. She can react to bullets but moves slower than them, and by the time she hears the projectile coming it might be too late to block. But that's really iffy. I'd say Frank 2/10, 0/10 if she's bulletproof (which I'm 99.9% sure she isn't).

R5: Frank 8/10. Superman has to concentrate to use his senses, and all his stats becomes weakened when Kryptonite is in the vicinity. Just stand on the opposite roof and spray green bullets in Superman's general direction. Or several sniper shots.

@thetruthiii: Wanda has telepathy' she will be able to sense his prescense and thoughts and then create a force field around herself. She sensed the prescense of Hawkeye, who is arguably better trained in stealth than Frank

She couldn't sense Proxima or Corvus before they impaled Vision

She couldn't sense Banner before he put her in a sleeper hold

She couldn't sense Hawkeye before he ambushed Pietro

She again couldn't sense Proxima before getting sucker punched in the Wakanda battle.

Scarlet Witch has been ambushed more times that anyone else in the MCU, and NONE of her assailants were attacking from the distance of a sniper shot. There's zero chance she senses Frank from 1500 meters away as he headshots her into oblivion

Don't see why he can't clear. Superman and Diana can't dodge what they can't see.

Clears with ease. Not knowing they’re being targeted means they get a bullet in the back of the head. Hell, any experienced sniper can do the trick. Without some wild comic feat (someone like, smells the gunpowder from 2 miles away and reacts...something that would more so happen in a comic and not in any of these guys’ live action movies), they’re all gonna die...fast.

He clears one. Fury just got snapped, as per the OP.

I mean I guess if he goes for Fury during this apocalypse he'd take him out. Other than that, everyone is above his paygrade.

Wanda's spy training with Widow allowed her to notice frecking Hawkeye sneaking into the Avengers HQ on the other end of the room, and she wasn't even on the lookout like in Lagos. He isn't getting past Spider Sense. Diana and Clark are fairly self explanatory.
