She could honestly stomp

Ant-Man has a slim chance due to his stealth advantage. Otherwise, she stops at Strange.

Never watched Runaways unfortunately.

She’s quite slow from what I can remember, not to mention her staff had rules that even she could sometimes fail to follow

Daisy could outdraw her, and both Dr Strange & Scarlet Witch would beat her, but she likely beats all the other rounds.

Her speed is her main problem if she's not careful most of these fights could end quickly

She blocked an energy beam from the Fistigons before and after they were fired. She's not exactly frail either because also endured a blast from them on a separate occasion. She also has spells that she has performed non-verbally so she might not even have to speak necessarily.

Shame, it's kind of niche but it's super enjoyable and endearing, especially if you're a fan of the titular characters.

I think Daisy beats her, she's faster by a decent amount, I can't really see her losing before then.

@indomitableregal: Yeah. They just finished fliming S3 actually. It'll premiere on Dec. 13th this year. And it was confirmed to have a crossover episode with Cloak & Dagger

Strange stops her. She's dummy powerful but definitely isn't on Stranges level of skill

Could possibly stop at Daisy if she hits first, definitely stops at Strange.

@angeljax: Don’t remember that but it’s possible I just haven’t seen that episode yet, haven’t watched Runaways since June. Also have a couple more before I finish the second season, so I might get back to you then.

Anyway, would she get off spells before the enemies can do anything.. I believe she would be able to one-shot everyone here with a spell. However didn't she fail to use the same spell twice from the fistigons in the abandoned mansion they live in. She managed to block it but the same spell failed the second time.

If she knows spells to use, she would absolutely win this.

No word on C&D S3 yet but it's hopeful. It hasn't been cancelled yet that's something.

So The Staff of One can use any spell but the catch is, it can only be used once. The reason it didn't work on the second attempt is that she attempted to use "Block!" again. But the Staff doesn't reuse the same phrase/word if Nico has already used it. However there is a workaround,she can just use different words to achieve the same desired effect. Like when she used "Hot Wire" in place of "Spark" to generate a spark to start a car.

In the comics, Nico can also say spells in different languages so the usage of possible spells increases, however this wasn't established in the show as of yet but I have a feeling it will one day.

Cool. Thanks for clarify, knew about her comic version, but unsure if that was how it worked in the show. I was unsure if the same effect could be achieved by differnt spells based on wording alone..

Anyway, she should clear this.

Could stop at Strange, if she plays it smart she could clear. All she would have to say is sleep, freeze, stop breathing etc. If she says one of those as soon as it starts then she can clear.

It was a vortex. If it was a real black hole:

1) Thanos and Dr Strange would have both been instantly sucked into it.

2) It would have moved MUCH faster. It took around 4 seconds to travel from Thanos to Dr Strange...Hardly FTL, not even supersonic.

3) Strange wouldn't have been fast enough to react to it, taking into consideration his consistent speed levels.

There you go. 3 feats contradicting it being a real black hole.

@geekryan: doesn’t matter. It was in the script, the most reliable source for feats since that was the intention when filming the scenes. I’m sure the people who have hulk and Thor fall in black holes in the comics are scientists who understand how black holes work.

Except Hulk and Thor in the comics have the feats to survive the pull of a black hole... Neither MCU Thanos or MCU Strange have those feats.

But sure, let's go with Thanos and Strange being unaffected by the pull of a black hole, and Strange being able to react to a FTL object that took 4 seconds to reach him from a few dozen meters away. Sounds legit.

In Avengers, the script described Thor dropping his hammer onto the ground as mountain-quaking, despite there being no quake/shaking of the mountain.

In Avengers, the script said that Captain America blocking Thor's hammer strike described everything within a mile.

In Thor: Ragnarok, the script compares Hulk landing on Thor to an "atom bomb".

Scripts tend to use a lot of hyperbole, and they aren't always portrayed the same way on screen.

@geekryan: if it was shown to us on screen in FTL we wouldn’t even be able to fucking see it, so it’s slowed down, in the comics we know characters are fighting at FTL-MFTL yet we can see them, so I guess they aren’t fighting at that speed.

A big difference between describing an action and saying something is a literal black hole, describing an object is different from describing an action in this case cause clearly, it’s meant to be an actual black hole and is confirmed to be a black hole.
