MCU Nanotech Iron Man vs AoU Hulkbuster

Conditions:

• The fight takes place in the same place Hulkbuster fought Hulk in AoU
• Both armors are worn by Tony Stark
• Nanotech Iron Man is bloodlusted
• Hulkbuster is In-character but determined to stop Iron Man
• Hulkbuster gets 5 Veronica repairs(or however many he got against Hulk if you remember)

These are the two most powerful Iron Man suits, but I can see Bleeding Edge taking the win with way better regen, maneuverability, and versatility.

This. Plus the bleeding edge form is the one that made Thanos bleed.

Bleeding Edge, if IM uses it like he did it in IW not EG.

Some people think Hulkbuster is the stronger of the two

@lilbroomstick: Well Hulkbuster had trouble with Hulk, and bleeding edge did better against Thanos than Hulk did, so I don't see that being the case. Maybe Hulkbuster has more raw strength, but that's about it. It doesn't have the feats to win an all out battle imo.

@alextheboss: Then again Hulkbuster outperformed Bleeding Edge against Cull Obsidian.

@the_hajduk: Hulkbuster was getting its butt kicked by Cull until he put the arm on and rocketed him into the force field. Though you can say Banner isn't nearly as skilled as Tony.

@alextheboss: Hulkbuster won the fight and landed many good hits leading up to it so I’m not sure what your point is.

@the_hajduk: @alextheboss: I kind of doubt Cull would've did nearly as good if Tony kept the pressure on him like he did against Thor and Thanos. He was rocked pretty hard by Iron Man's first attack

Bleeding Edge Iron Man low-mid diff.

@lilbroomstick: Iron Man could have and should have beaten Cull, but he didn’t. He actually lost fairly definitively unless you believe that he would have survived the axe strike while bound (Wong saved him). He even got a second chance in Endgame, yet he lost again.

Pure jobbing and Iron Man could do better, but it is a part of his official record now.

It's true that Iron Man jobbed and the second instance Cull just cheapshotted him. Cull still didn't do any damage either of the times he hit Iron Man while just one of Iron Man's attacks had got him pretty good. I think he's strong enough to have eventually beaten Iron Man though.

Iron Man is bloodlusted here though, so I don't see how jobbing helps Hulkbuster now.

Bleeding Edge

If there was no energy barrier, Hulkbuster would've lost against Cull. It was a situational win due to environmental hazards. If the nanotech suit blasted Cull into the energy barrier, that would be the same kind of win. Neither suit can put down Cull easily without environmental factors.

So who wins here?

The IW suit wins because it's more versatile but people are overhyping the bleeding edge suit because of his performance against a Thanos who didn't want to kill anyone and also holding back.
