But in-character Tony always goes close quarters. Where Valk will likely one-shot. Could go either way

IM’s AoU suits were a thing of beauty.

Valkyrie IMO. She is almost on par with Thor in terms of strength and durability. Her swords can likely pierce his armor, and she can tank his weapons no problem.

I don't think Valkyrie can tank his firepower.

Her feats suggests she can. Tony weapons can't seriously hurt an asgardian.

@johndeyvido: if he actually sustained fire against Loki, he probably would've done damage. He just hit him with short twin blasts and then stopped.

Maybe or maybe not... Loki took the bifrost explosion just fine and took hawkeye arrow explosion easily.

In an actual fight, Loki would be fighting back and he had the sceptre that could fire blast powerful enough to blow up quinjets so Tony would also be trying to avoid Loki's sceptre blasts.

OT Valkryrie is stronger than Loki and has a one shot weapon but Tony has versatility going for him and that keeps him in the fight long but he would eventually run out of power and ammo or try to fight h2h and would be stomped.

@johndeyvido: none of those lasted like IM sustaining his fire at Ultron. Loki can tank attacks in short bursts but they do hurt. The force and heat of repulsors hitting him for a while should start to cook him. He has impressive explosion resistance, but like when he was hit by Thor's bolt of lightning, there were signs he couldn't handle continuous attacks.

Tony wins. Mid difficulty at best.

Valkyrie does not carry an asgardian shield to defend against Iron Man and force an eventual CQ exchange, but if she is riding her winged steed, she should take him quite convincingly.

Loki is not just going to stand there and allow Tony to continuously blast him. IM repulsor can't damage Ultron, Thor's lightning and Vision's infinity mind stone blast did the heavy lifting. Tony's repulsor don't scale to Thor's lightning or the mind gem blast.

Loki can't handle Thor's lightning doesn't imply he can't handle Tony's repulsor.

Tony's repulsor have not incapacitated any mid-tier before. Valkryrie nosold her ship blowing up and that is far above the repulsor beam can do.

Cap America and Bucky took multiple repulsor blasts and were not incapacitated so Valkryrie would be fine.

Ironman should take this
