Ikaris is not stomping. Iron man is physically stronger than him and Ikaris laser isn't doing anything. By combat feat Iron Man has this but Ikaris could possibly take it with a bullish.

I think what y'all meant is Tony wins in a lifting or punching contest because in a straight fight Ikaris just can't loose since his speed, eye beams and durability makes up for his shit strength feats.

Ikaris destroys him. I don't think Iron Man is impressive at all - below Hulk level even.

@frozen: IW Ironman is well above Hulk even with basic scaling Bleeding edge armor > Hulkbuster which can already Match Hulk in striking, Hulk buster biggest weakness was it durability and the fact it so clunky,

Meteor feat >>> any offensive hulk could ever push out and his versatility and maneuverability is far above Hulk’s Tony could copy his fighting style as well we also saw Hulk with mele fail to tag A Thor who was trying to calm him down

his fire power, durable are lower than iron man, don't know strengh but definitely below hulk level because he can't break free deviants grab that has no impressive strengh feat.(one of them even stuck in fucking iron tree)

He fought with Thanos yet couldn't do anything to him. Thanos broke his suit with his one slap People talk like he was giving Thanos hard time. One Mjolnir swing and he is KO'd. He has impressive durability feats, But that's all.

He is slower and weaker than Ikaris.

Ikaris wins, but Iron Man is not a complete fodder to him.

I honestly think its a stalemate. But i could see Ikaris winning more than losing if they fought 50 times.

Iron man hands down. He has drawn blood from thanos who is miles more durable. Dont see why tony doesnt knock him out. Tagging ikaris will be hard. But he could probably distract him with rockets etc. On the other hand ikaris wont do anything to tony

Ikaris is fast combat speed wise, but from what i seen from the movie, is olnly in short busts. I'd say nano suit tony should take this 6-7/10 from his versatility

I do not think Ikaris was that impressive. Getting held down by that Deviant was a terrible showing as he had all the leverage. Some lasers and unibeams could definitely mess up his day.

Virtually any "stalemate" with Mark L Iron Man will end up with him losing because he will eventually run out of Nanites.

Going off consistent feats these two are around the same level barring reaction speed. Ikaris best feat is the cloud bull rush which he never did in combat. The bull rushes he used in combat look a lot more like this

Which isn’t doing much to Tony. Ikaris’s striking power is non existent so his punches aren’t doing much to Tony either, who survived a meteor being dropped on him and tanked getting punched down a city block and through a building by Cull. Ikaris’s optic blast also aren’t more powerful than a power stone blast which Tony blocked/tanked with his nanoshield.
IIRC Ikaris had to be healed by Ajak after their first fight against the deviants in the beginning of the movie. If those deviants are weaker than the current deviants (who can’t lift a metal tree) can injure Ikaris obviously Tony can too.

Am I missing something? Ikaris should win comfortably. He flew to the sun's surface in hardly any time and wasn't even burning up when close to it. The Eternals were still on the beach when Ikaris reached the sun. Ikaris is also faster in combat and reaction speed. His heat vision should damage the armor over time like most energy blasts sustained for a while. Ikaris also hits hard enough to send Iron Man flying with each hit. He should be able to crack the helmet open. Iron Man isn't hurting or damaging Ikaris in any significant way. Definitely not with repulsors or slow but powerful attacks. I don't see him being any more successful with blades than Thena. Ikaris is too much for Tony unless he has the stones.

@samjackson: Do we know what kind of metal that tree was? Eternals know about metal like vibranium. Could be an alien metal that is unrealistically heavy for all we know. Deviants doing well against Eternals are feats for the deviants. They both have the same creator so while deviant power levels may generally be lower, it's not unbelievable that they can still deal damage to beings made of similar technology. So Ikaris getting injured by something also created by a Celestial doesn't make him weak. Iron Man would probably struggle against a deviant even more than Ikaris. In-universe, I can see it being like Tony's fight against Cull. Gets good hits in but eventually gets overwhelmed and needs help.

I'm not sure why people are using ikaris feat of being held down by the deviants or his combat with them as anti feats when he was confirmed to be holding back that entire time in order to stall for the emergence. Once he was trying he was able to eventually fight up to makkari speed or at least enough to grab her. And his eye beams are also quite impressive. Just them destroying their ship is impressive as their ship flew right next to the sun at the beginning of the movie without any damage whatsoever. He also able to casually catch thena blade so I don't see Tony cutting him.

I don't see how Tony wins. He can't dodge the eye beams which were nearly tagging makkari and we see the force with which they hit when he slams the druig into the ground and continues pushing him through solid earth. That makes them stronger then Tony beams and allow him to break through Tony suit

Good fight. Similar combat speed. Tony needs his high-end lasers to pull out a win. Though his Repulsors should be effective as well.
