MCU Ikaris vs DCEU/SC Superman
@hydratedfubuki6: Have you seen the movie?
@hydratedfubuki6: How strong is Ikaris in your opinion?
Ikaris has better high ends reacting to Makkari and not being damaged when going inside the sun while Superman is stronger with better striking feats
I think Ikaris takes this more often then not he went up against more impressive opponents alone and always came on top
@satanishki: I agree with this
Seeing the movie tomorrow excited to debate this though cause SC Clark has the MCU top tiers (Thor, Carol, Hela, EG Thanos) in a choke hold for now. Hopefully Ikaris can surpass him
@graysonblake: Nah ikaris stomps
His cloud and sun feat stomps any of superman's.
I have not seen the movie yet, but I bet he will be above DCEU Superman, but not quite on the level of Thanos, Thor, and Captain Marvel.
@goldeneagle: He's above all of them, got a island level feat lol
@joker567892: Thor has a small moon level feat.
@joker567892: Thor has a small moon level feat.
Which feat may I ask?
@achillesspawn: He basically busts a islands worth of clouds or something by flying, his lasers also damage a ship that was near the sun, (He goes into the sun and survives an ignition with no damage as well)
He's way too strong and durable for Superman to take out.
@heiqn: Probs nidaviller, but im pretty sure vfx said nidaviller was 3 times bigger then a moon lol, so it probs wouldn't be small moon level.
@heiqn: He destroyed a whole part of Jotunheim, and was able to move the rings of Nidavellir while being in far from good shape considering he had just gotten beat up by Thanos a day before.
It's impressive because of the amount of clouds he busted, in terms of energy its in the billions of tons range with island level potency
He destroyed the ship, didn't just melt or break, he's also much faster then either Thor or Thanos, being able to react to hypersonic speedster a couple of times.
Edit: it's ambiguous if he dies in the sun or not
@achillesspawn: He reacted to Makkari, the speedster that can travel around the planet in seconds.
He's def faster in terms of reactions as well.
@graysonblake: Superman can't even statue bullets.
And the sun temp is equal to his actual hv, which he gets hurt by etc, you also didn't address his cloud feat which is in the island level range.
@achillesspawn: “busting clouds” are impressive because they actually have weight and aren’t jusy to fluffy masses. You could look up the weight/mass of a cloud then go with that.
@graysonblake: superman would no sell cuz it powers him lol. That’s the only reason why.
@ecoblitz: Ye but stars also have gravity and stuff, so he would need to no sell that as well.
@joker567892: yeah except the creators don’t care about that lol. It’s something called artistic liberty my guy they don’t have to think of all the physics involved in a feat because they probably don’t know it. That’s why you got people moving at mach speeds and the environment is perfectly fine. Relax
@ecoblitz: I mean, some do some don't lol, Green lantern was almost pulled in by the sun in his film.
@graysonblake: Nah ikaris stomps
His cloud and sun feat stomps any of superman's.
what did he do to clouds?
@darkthunder: He busted a bunch of them, like island level tier
@darkthunder: He busted a bunch of them, like island level tier
busted or moved? I don't see how one "busts" a cloud. Can you describe it to me? Did he like fly fast and the resulting sonic boom moved them far away?
@darkthunder: He busted a bunch of them, like island level tier
So every wind in existence is island lvl then out real life places are island lvl+ because they can penetrate such powerful winds.
MCU fans logic at it's finest

yea, I still don't get what busting a cloud means
@darkthunder: Means he dispersed them, better? Clouds have weight to them so dispersing a ton of them is actually a very impressive feat.
@darkthunder: clouds actually have weight. Clearing a large portion of them is what counts as the feat.

but how? did he fly too fast and the resulting sonic booms dispersed them? bc then its not a strength feat

I never doubted that. I asked what busting the clouds means and why is it a strength feat
@darkthunder: It's more of a dura feat and not strength then lol
@darkthunder: It's more of a dura feat and not strength then lol
what? I seriously do not get you.. please describe that scene to me
@darkthunder: Yea it was flight, my point is he would need to be durable to fly that fast and disperse the clouds without his body exploding no?
@darkthunder: I think it’s a dc/AP feat
