Thanos pulls Tony out of the cockpit and bashes Hulk's face in

Hulk was nerfed during IW.. so Thanos stomps.

Thanos throws double the punches he threw against Hulk in IW at most. Thanos low difficulty. Also, Thanos wasn't bloodlusted when he stomped Hulk, so that just means he mops the floor with the team. Hulkbuster's durability is below Hulk's, and one chop from Thanos hurt Hulk badly. Meanwhile, when Thanos was taken by surprise and unbalanced, Hulk's punches weren't doing much, and Hulkbuster only hits as hard as Hulk at best. Flight is the only reason the fight may get dragged out, but the team doesn't have what it takes to scratch Thanos.

Thanos easily. Hulkbuster was made to 'kick the crap out of the Hulk', which Thanos did in just a handful of punches.

Hulkbuster is only good when it’s combined with Veronica.

What good is it when thanos rips the arms and legs off with no way to replace its parts

Hulkbuster is much less durable than the Hulk, and will be kinda useless after 15 seconds if there are no replacement parts. They'll get a couple hits in, but insufficient damage to put down Thanos for good.
