Magneto can kill anyone on the MCU team if given a little time, chances are he takes care of vision instantly
The real problem is Shaw. He didn't show any limits in first class so for all intents and purposes he can probably solo here. Unless Thor BFR'S him, maybe.
Hulk can destroy mageneto and survive pheonix long enough to do it, vision can kill pheonix due to being metal and intangebility, and shaw can be killed by all 3, especially thor
Mutants kill it. Magneto can end Vision instantly and restrain Thor with some effort. Hulk can slug Shaw all day with nothing to show for it but a stronger enemy. Shaw and Magneto can then hold the Avengers up for free shots and Phoenix disintegrates them.

Wolverine stabbed her 1 time and she died. His healing factor was strong enough for him to get close. Why couldn't Hulk and Thor get close enough to slap her silly?
The only "bad" matchup for the MCU would be Vision vs Magneto
But Vision is a good fight for Shaw or Phoenix imo
the big problem is Phoenix here...she should solo...
but depending on the combination, Team 1 would have a chance
Vision can go intangible and kill Shaw Thor can deal with Magneto using Mjolnir's speed and lightning
but if Thor goes against Shaw and Vision goes against Mags, this gets a different outcome for me...we don't know Shaw's limitations, so Thor can unleash a lot of power and do nothing but charge Shaw...
i just don't think anyone on team 1 can beat Phoenix if she's serious on the fight...switch her for another villain...
Magneto scraps Vision immediately, and Thor is covered in metal armour, so he gets instantly incapped too.
Shaw would probably urge Hulk to attack him. If Hulk goes after Shaw unless he throws him into orbit or something, all he'll do is power him up.
Magneto then uses Vision's scraped body as a shield when Pheonix levels the place. Since Hulk and Thor have shown to be neither as durable as adamantium nor have as good healing as Wolverine, they get obliterated.

He absorbs energy and uses it to amp himself, can you imagine how strong he'd be after a citybusting lightning strike from Thor and a blitz from Vision? He'd tear their heads off
Shaw was locked down by Charles' TP and Magneto slowly pushed the coin to avoid imparting any energy, there's zero reason for any of the MCU guys to do that or even know about it
They'll hit him hard and quick, realising too late the source of his powers

Phoenix TK and Telepathy are more than strong enough to deal with the Hulk. If Scarlett witch can mind control him than he stands no chance against Jean here.
And without a psychic no one on the field other than the Phoenix can directly hurt Shaw. If Hulk punches him full power Shaw turns into a Nuke and solos.
This is a really good fight. Either team can win but I would take team 1 due to thors lightning and ability to just bust whatever ground their fighting on. That can end things very quickly.

What's Thor's best strength feat? Probably something superhuman. Good for him.
Magneto was casually lifting and moving the Golden Gate bridge, carrying a baseball arena, stopped an entire fleet's missile barrage, etc. Apocalypse Magneto's feats only got better:
Vaporized Auschwitz.
All simultaneously: Erected a personal defense shield of magnetism, manipulated the Earth's magnetic spectrum, crushed multiple cities from continents away (bridges and buildings in NYC, crushed the Sydney Opera House), lifting shipwrecks from the ocean floor, etc.
Magneto is a casual city buster on a planetary level. From a continent away, he can crush a city with his power. They weren't capable of stopping him from doing so; he was convinced to stop. He would have wiped out all cities on the planet in time.
But yeah, sure, Thor's "Asgardian strength" will be enough to resist that. Right.

Magneto is a city buster now. He was simultaneously crushing NYC, Sydney, and other areas around the world from continents away while manipulating the entire Earth's electromagnetic spectrum.
He has far more destructive feats than... well, frankly, the entire Avengers roster combined, if not the entire MCU combined (minus power gems... and even then...)
@jedixman: He sure does but he still has human durability and can still be taken out by any member of the MCU team. He can take any of them out (at least BFR) as well too though which is why this is such a good fight.

He has the power to erect shields. Also, since when do members of the Avengers speedblitz? They don't do it very often, if at all; the only time I can think of is when pre-humbled Thor blitzed a Frost Giant... don't see him doing that to Magneto. Magneto's powers have been shown to take effect very, very fast. Considering the fact that most if not all of the Avengers have metal on them, and the area is covered in metal, I don't see why the battle won't end when it begins.
Magneto was fast enough to kill a dozen men before any of them could react. With a locket.
At 100 yards, with nothing but metal between the Avengers and Magneto, I see Magneto soloing.
i feel like shaw can solo here magneto is too much and makes this spite.... and when jean gets more explanation of her powers along with showings she solos too.
@jedixman: His shields, unless I'm forgetting something, are only made out of metal or rock which is like paper to the MCU team. If you mean the shield thing he did in Apocalypse then that may be trouble but he won't just automatically do that, that was a special case. Plus it's possible Mjolnir could break through, and I'm not sure if it blocks energy blasts or not.

Last Stand Phoenix was a joke, durability wise. Thor can easily blast her with an attack, whip MJOLNIR at her, or Vision can just his mind gem. Although, I don't think anyone is capable of stopping Shaw, unless Vision's intangibility can play into that.

You say that as if Thor and Hulk are invincible. Tony Stark's primary method for being Hulk was to fight him. He punched him with metal and threw him through metal. I don't see why Thor or Hulk wouldn't go down after enough hits.
@jedixman: So you're arguing they can be beaten by throwing metal at them or throwing them around? They aren't invincible but it is a fact that their skin and bones are harder than metal and rock and the metal/rocks will break before they do. Tony just pissed Hulk off throughout the fight and his suit was getting ripped apart. You bring up that fight like Hulk was ever actually damaged. Like I said before, it will just slow them down. Not actually defeat them. Magneto as far as I know has never put metal through anyone as durable as these two.
