MCU: Hela & Thanos vs Scarlet Witch & Captain Marvel

Wanda is 100% confirmed by film and directors to be above Thanos. So she beats him, Marvel can stall hela till Wanda can grab her and mangle her. Marvel was durable to take missiles from Thanos’s ship shot directly at her face. Her energy aura will likely protect her from swords

Wanda and Carol, relatively easily. Wanda beats Thanos, and then they team up on Hela.

Thanos should be able take Carol with sword as she has no feats that suggest she can tank it. Her only chance is to disarm him and keep him away from the sword IMO.

If she keeps distance, I think he can hold her off long enough for Hela to beat Witch (though this can go either way and will decide the outcome of whole fight) and team up on Carol.

Hela can arguably solo

@nn5: Well Wanda is already confirmed to be better than Thanos. She beat him in Endgame fair and square. Carol went up an IG Thanos and also nearly won but he had to resort to BFRing her with the power stone. So either way Thanos is losing 100% to Wanda or Carol. He's probably the weakest here without the gauntlet tbh.

As for Hela, I'm confident in Wanda's ability to beat her. Hela is kind of like Thanos powerwise and Wanda's powerset stacks up well against hers. Carol's does too, she's a monstrous physical powerhouse. When either is done handling Thanos, they're going to go on to help the other with Hela if they haven't already beaten her.

HELA and Thanos STOMP...CM puts up a fight with Thanos but gets ripped by Hela at some point...Wanda gets beaten quickly...

Two unlike Thanos she has AOE she can use to ONE shot Wanda, even If held in that attack. Impaled from any direction by many Spears or by giant ones..that Hela can keep spamming from all directions. Or Hela simply wipes away Wandas TK with her own..

Three Hela has a near instant Regen she's far too durable for wanda who really isn't in her league. Marvel isn't either for that matter..

Wanda does well against Bricks like Thanos but Hela isn't a brick (though she does eat them for breakfast) and she's way out of Wandas league..

No she doesn't....if she does it's strictly tied to her blades and nothing else so, not really relevant.

Wanda also has AoE attacks, and shields to protect herself from said blades. Wanda also has airel maneuverability and can attack while airbone. Her powers have been shown to be more than a match against Vibranium and even Uru, having destroyed both before so I doubt Hela's swords would be much of a problem for Wanda.

How will Hela regenerate from having her atoms severed on a molecular level?

Hela is a brick. Just a brick with blades. She's uber powerful and is probably the most powerful MCU villain right after IG Thanos and Ego but like I said her powers are very poor against someone like Wanda.

Hela can manifest gigantic necroswords from the ground, she can take Wanda with these. Wanda can't protect herself while tearing someone with her TK.

While I think Hela can be overestimated a lot, this is one of those battles where she is being underrated. The battle is on Asgard. She can win this on endurance alone. Thanos is good for stalling either of team 1 on a normal day. His defense is very solid, arguably better than Carol's with how the power stone detonated in his hand and didn't disable it. His damage output and lack of range is his issue. He'll have to rely heavily on the sword. I'm not sure Scarlet Witch would defeat him in time before Hela stabs her. Corvus and Proxima showed what a difference a team can make when SW can't just focus on tearing apart one. Now of course, Carol will be the main issue for team 2 due to her defense. But how good it is against Hela's magic blades or Thanos's sword is debatable. I don't see energy blasts being enough to defeat either of team 2 quickly. Team 2 is overall better in passive defense, Wanda either focuses on offense or defense but is poor at doing both at the same time and Carol has to get her glow going (it turned off when Thanos grabbed her in EG, so if that happens, Hela has a clear opening).

@angeljax: Agree generally but not about Carol. I can't imagine her beating armed Thanos. At close range he will cut through her with sword, at long range the weapon can be good protection against photon blast. Carol is quite clearly physically stronger but it's not enough to win this IMO.

Against Hela, can Carol really put her down due to her regen? Wanda might be able to considering she broke Thanos' sword but Carol's punches/bullrushes that got tanked by Thanos won't do much to Hela.

@angeljax: Wanda couldn't handle her hold with simple blast from Thanos's ship,. She won't be able to handle helas blades. Especially those that are skyscraper sized, they would easily overwhelm any sheilds she's shown thus far..Hela is more durable then Thanos and he's lasted long enough to have fire rain down. Hela would last much longer and continue to regenerate on top of that.. Wanda While Impressive can't stop hela foe more then a small amount of Time..Wanda was full of hate against Thanos, she don't even have that going here. Nah Hela should make fairly short work of Wanda here..

Carol wouldn't fair as well as Thor against Hela as she was toying with her brother not even going all out and ragdolling him with ease...She wouldn't go down easy but she'd go down..

Also Hela is actually above Thanos minus the snap of the Gauntlet

Thanos is more or less useless here against Wanda, as he was telekinetically restrained and was dead to rights. Carol can beat him without his precious stones

the Big thing is how they manage to destroy Hela, who is going to oneshot Wanda and probably pulp Carol if she's going for her charged tackle. I mean they can ragdoll her, blast her, or try to overwhelm her from a distance but I'm not sure they can destroy her short of imploding her somehow.

Honestly this is one of the best fights in the mcu and a lot closer than people are making out.

Really it all comes down to Wanda for me shes the glass canon here but also has the most specific hax ability, if shes enraged or bloodlust like she was in EG shes even more dangerous but standard Wanda might not manage.

The other 3 dont go down easy regardless of who they face.

Hela could solo. Wanda's glass cannon status is a nightmare for her against Hela.

Thanos can beat either head up if he knows their powers, and he can beat Captain Marvel period.

Wanda is a wild card. Hela will beat her tbh. If she dies fast then her team definitely loses. If she doesn’t then they should win.

And no CM isn’t stronger than Thanos. They needed three people to restrain him in the hut. She clearly was augmenting her stats in the final fight. People need to stop ignoring this.

It's a close fight. No one is stomping here.

Hela is the biggest player here. Wanda and Carol can both beat Thanos Wanda can do what she did in endgame and CM can just beat him in CQC though she may get cut by the sword. Wanda's damage output is also ridiculous. She has shown the ability to break vibranium and she has shot energy blast strong enough to temporarily hold back the Thanos even though he had the space gem produce a shield. The same gem that tosses massive pieces of a moon hundreds of thousands of miles at high speed. She may be able to deal enough damage to kill Hela via crushing organs. Hela could also potentially spike her instantly and CM gets put down eventually. Really close match.

I still think it's a very close fight but Hela and her blade spam could be the x factor to sway the fight.

Carol holds off Hela until Wanda crushes Thanos. Then Wanda grabs Hela while she’s distracted and crushes her too

Capt Marvel had like 120 seconds of screen time and pretty much ruined a villian they built up for years.

That said as written either solo Thanos who is terrified of their womanhood. That makes 2 on 1 vs Hela. Hela beats team solo.
