And even if it was 74 tons, he visibly struggled. I would say more than Thor did with the statue head. People have Superman as tectonic plate level, but he struggled with 74 tons?

He was urging the kids to leave the battle, obviously because he doesn't want them hurt as collateral damage. They were in the middle of fighting Gorr. Also, if he was truly struggling, he wouldn't have been able to effortlessly toss the head like he did. If you have ever shoulder pressed, you would know that if you were struggling with your max weight you wouldn't be able to just toss the bar like that.

At any rate, I don't think the people who made the movie were thinking like CV users. Superman lifting the rocket or Thor lifting the statue head wasn't deliberated like "oh by my calculation this is 50 tons yes!". They were like "Let's have these dudes lift something heavy and look heroic doing it."

Thor in this same movie pulling the ship far far far surpasses 40 tons. Just like Superman has 10000 feats that far surpass 74 tons.

Literally just got out of watching the movie. Thor didn’t struggle with the celestial head, made evident by the fact that he effortlessly tossed it with enough force to cause the temple to rumble. Also, he was completely fine after. Not out of breath or anything he went right into pep talking the kids he saved.

I don't see how Gorr wouldn't strangle Doomsday with the shadow power, then proceed to hack off the brute's head.

Gorr. Without a reason to do otherwise, Gorr can hold Doomday down with tentacles and hack at him as well as summon armies to fight for him. Obviously these monsters can't beat Doomsday but they are distractions regardless.
