MCU Ebony maw vs Guardians of Galaxy

Maw, it’s not like he’ll stand there doing nothing while Mantis tried her empathy, she won’t get the chance to use it.

Guardians. I don't recall Maw being able to TK multiple targets at the same time. While he's dealing with one of the guardians he'll be getting shanked or shot by another.

@paperbag: Fair point. Still, he's going to have Quill and Rocket shooting at him with Gamora and Drax attacking with sword and knives, Nebula and Groot lurking and Mantis possibly sneaking up on him.

Really anyone of them can take him down if he gets distracted.

@kingofwakanda: True, but if he goes airborne then I don't anyone really landing a hit on him. He can also toss away their weapons at any point.

@paperbag: Groot can potentially stretch his limbs and reach him if he goes airborne. Quill still has rocket boosters. I think he can take them individually but not as a team.

@kingofwakanda: Maybe if it was Groot from the first Guardians, but currently he doesn't seem to be as combat effective. Quill is a threat, but I assume Maw could handle him.

@paperbag: Teen Groot admittedly has no combat feats, however, he can still stretch his vines like he did when formed the handle of Thor's ax. That would be enough to wrap around Maw's throat or impale him from afar. Plus he's got rapid regen as his arm was back in the next scene.

I don't think Maw has the battle awareness or reaction time to deal with 7 high level threats simultaneously. He gets one shot by anyone if he slips up for a moment.

Even Thanos got snuck up on by Mantis because he was dealing with too many people.

@kingofwakanda: I feel like Maw has very good awareness, again with the Peter Parker scene, he didn't even look at him and still managed to hit him.

Maw should win. No one here has a physical answer to his TK. Guardians may have a slight chance if Mantis can get close enough.

Ebony maw outclassed mk50 Iron Man and Iron Man Jr. so bad that they had to resort to space BFR..

Not to mention Maw no diffed Strange (capturing him with ease). Only thing Strange was holding back was refraining the usage of the time stone.

Guardians are vastly weaker, full of street tiers with weapons. Drax is a joke, Mantis needs to catch him off guard, the others get their weapons TK'd out of their hands and no diffed along with the likes of MK50 IM, IM JR and Strange

No one on the Guardians have answers to his TK, especially the roster from IW.

Maw can do two things at once as far as TK goes, he can also do seven.

They'd have their hands full with Corvus
