MCU: Defenders vs Dora Milaje

• How about a hell no, Okoye only has 2 movies, like 4 fight sequences and less than 10 minutes of feats, just enough to fill half of a first post as opposed to Matt having an entire series. Why you would even suggest this goes to show how uninformed you are. Okoye still beats him though, she ranks higher than him in both combat and status by feats and statements.

I wouldn't underestimate the outriders here. A group of them can overwhelm the Hulbuster suit. 3 of them pinned Captain America. 2 of them were throwing around Panther like a ragdoll. And to be fair, the outriders eventually learned to run away from Thor. In fact, they were running back to their motherships and trying to take off for a full scale retreat. Not it made a difference when Thor chased them down, and blew up the ships.

Danny can shoot a bullet out of midair from a couple feet away. If he has the reaction time and accuracy to hit that bullet, he can shoot at least one of the Dora in the head before they close the 15 feet gap. And then shoot the other Doras in the head before they kill his friends.

T'Challa's car was vibranium, the one that Shuri was driving remotely. The car that Okoye was standing on is also vibranium, and I think Nakia was driving that one too. Ulysses Klaue busted both those cars with his sonic canon. Okoye threw her spear through the car of Ulysses's men, which wasn't made out of vibranium.

T'Challa's suit is just as much Vibranium as the weapons every Wakandan uses. I don't recall it being stated otherwise. His suit was penetrated by vibranium bullets in the tie-in comic.

I'm not saying Luke is more durable than vibranium or T'Challa's suit. I'm saying vibranium blades don't have the feats to cut him when wielded by peak humans. T'Challa cut Cap's shield, but other wakandans couldn't cut him or Killmonger. Which suggests superhuman strength is required for high-end cutting feats. And even then, Killmonger and T'Challa couldn't cut each other despite their suits being much thinner than Cap's shield.

I'm not sure where also of this about secondary/diluted vibranium is coming from. That's never been mentioned to my memory.

I must admit, I was briefly impressed by Okoye's spear. Until I remembered that Ulysses' arm cannon could completely obliterate that car, and yet barely does anything to Black Kitty. Again, Killmonger with an America grenade launcher can do better fighting Wakanda's cosplaying king. Killmonger's biggest mistake was joining the furry movement instead of sticking with his guns. Still not seeing how the elite explorers handles Danny.

@alavanka: Tbf, the Hood was just dented. It’s possible only the body was laced with vibranium while everything underneath was standard materials. Otherwise I don’t know how to explain the hood being relatively fine while the rest of the car was destroyed

@alavanka: Did you watch the movie? Shuri's "car" isn't even hers. It's a stolen one that she is using remote access technology to drive. We literally see Shuri tell T'Challa to bring them with him to Busan and we see Okoye throw it onto a random car as they run out the casino. So Klaue destroying it isn't noteworthy especially when throughout the scene the car was being damaged by bullets and had shattered windows all over

What's stopping Luke from grabbing the Spears and throwing them away?

@tyger: It's been a while. Fair enough, I guess that Shuri's car wasn't anything impressive. Though Klaue basically wrecked the vibranium car Okoye was on, so it's not really that important. Okoye didn't stab the hood anyways. She stabbed through the top of the roof, and I'm pretty sure most of the metal there is shredded by the sonic cannon.

Matt fought Elektra at a reach disadvantage, he can do the same to Corvus for longer than Doras could. Especially since Elektra is far more skilled than Corvus.

Klaue's blast only dismantled the outer parts car and left minor indentations, besides that everything was fully intact as it rolled down the hill, which is how Nakia was still in the drivers seat holding onto the wheel, and both were unharmed. Klaue's blast completely crushed the regular car.

Vibranium is just a material it doesn't have magical one shot properties, you look even stupider especially when not only do we see Cap and Black Panther having to hit them multiple times with their vibranium weapons, you can also see some of the fodder in the background being given solid fights by the Outriders too. One shotting them is a matter of skill and technique.

@tyger: Dude the car was thoroughly busted. The only thing that was "intact" was the drivers seat and the wheel. And like the plate which Okoye ended up standing on, which was dented. Everything else, like the doors, the other 4 seats, the engine, the frame, the roof... All of it is shrapnel. Like 90% of that car is just gone. The bottom line is that Klaue's sonic canon did more damage to that vibranium car than Okoye ever did.

I ask again, why can't Luke throw their weapons away? And why can't Danny just one shot them?

I haven't seen any of the Netflix shows but I have seen both movies with the Dora in them. I'm asking legit questionw here. Is there any reason at all that Luke and IF can't do what I just said?

Because according to some of the posts heren despite his established training and fighting experience against a skilled opponent in Bushmaster, apparently Luke is too slow and unskilled to avoid getting one shotted. And apparently a Dora Milaje having a five second fight against Corvus before being stomped is enough to say that she could beat Luke with no problems.

... Klaue was running low on energy at that point so nice try, clearly see it depower and he looks at it confusedly, not to mention the blast was smaller. The rpg is weaker than a fully powered blast from Klaue's cannon. Anyone who claims Okoye's spear can stab through the suit is dumb or blind, I hope you don't think I was intending to make that argument... The rpg damaged T'Challa's suit because of the sonic effect it had which vibranium is vulnerable to, on top of his suit overloading from the previous grenade, a spear is pure piercing and we literally see that it does nothing to the Panther suits, or even pure vibranium since we see the ritual shields hold up to vibranium weapons.

If Danny caries guns now he just shoots them.
