MCU: Defenders Vs. Black Panther

All of them get sliced up.

BP wins because he is bloodlusted and will simply kill them all with his claws. I do think the team can win because somehow Hawkeye was able to get BP into a hold and both Danny and Matt are more skilled than Clint, but BP should win more often than not.

T'Challa

Can't call it. We've yet to see T'Challa take damage. He's battled Cap, Buck and Clint; no one "hurt" him.

Assuming he can be suffocated for a KO, then the team distracts as Cage chokes him out; but if this is all about H2H (kicks and punches), no feats support him losing; too soon to call it.

T'challa turns them into slices.

Take out the suit/claws and I might give it to the team. Matt and Danny are both fast and skilled enough to keep up with him (with Danny being able to enhance his striking power with his chi), Jessica and Luke aren't exactly slow and with the number advantage, they could land some hits on him. Not sure if bloodlust is really a game-changer since he was bloodlusted for a majority of the movie.

Where does this misconception come from? He was calm the majority of the movie, he just wanted to avenge his father.

That's my point. He was bloodlusted for 3 out of the 5 fights he was in.

T'Challa. I really don't think Matt or Jessica are even factors here.

Black Panther wins this. He has the same physical stats as Captain America and is arguably a superior in h2h than Captain America. So from a h2h standpoint, Daredevil and Iron Fist will be outmatched. But what really matters is Black Panther's gear. Black Panther's suit is resistant to high calibre bullet fire and his vibranium claws could no doubt scratch through Luke's skin while Luke won't be able to hurt Black Panther. Overall, I see Black Panther mid difing the Defenders.

There's nothing they can do to get past the habit.

Luke and Jessica are strong and tough enough to hold T'Challa down, and he can't tank Danny's punches. Even if he's in his kinetic suit, Danny's Chi-Puch delivered to the chest should overload it and KO T'Challa.

It would come down to wether or not Jessica and Luke can get their hands on him before T'Challa starts trying to take off limbs, and how resistant Lukes, Danny's, and Jessica limbs are to that.

Defenders win if he has his CW suit.

If Clint can hold his own and even get to a favorable position against T'Challa then Matt and Danny can as well. Then you have Cage who is similar in strength, chi ampered punches and Jessica Jones.

If this was CW BP I'd say team stomps, the enhanced suit makes things way more complicated as Panther can one-shot anyone but Cage with a kinetic punch but if a grenade had enough kinetic energy to knock Panther down a chi ampered punch would hurt him badly.

With Civil War suit he will probably lose.

With Kinetic Energy suit he wins easily. That suit KO'd Cull. One hit from Iron Fist would be enough to charge suit.

Yeah, his BP/IW/EG suit was beautifully overpowered.

T'Challa mid to high diff with his first suit, low diff with the second suit.

Panther wins solely because of his suit. Whether it's the Civil War one or the new one, it enhances his durability far too much for me to believe even a solid Luke Cage or chi-amped IF punch would really be able to do anything significant.

Take the suit away and it's a whole different story though.

@power_hunter: No sold automatic gunfire. No sold Hawkeye's explosive arrows. Tanked direct punches from Bucky's metal arm. Tanked being thrown through several layers of metal by Wanda.

Tbh Luke has better feats than those.

@power_hunter: Yeah but Luke has no way of getting through the suit to deal actual damage to Panther. Panther has vibranium claws that can absolutely pierce Luke's skin. Not to mention he's faster and a better fighter.

Luke scales to bullet-timer Bushmaster, I don't know if Panther really has an edge on speed. Also the team has not just Luke, but also Danny, who is even faster and way more skilled than Luke and can cause serious damage to Panther.

BP oneshots.

@power_hunter: I agree with Danny being a threat, but he's also the only threat here imo. And I just don't see him soloing unless Panther just lets himself get hit with the IF multiple times

I think Luke has stats to perform well, Daredevil can hold his own and Danny has a possible one-shot weapon. Has Panther any feat to say he won't get KO'd by a chi punch?
