It would be closer if you gave Steve his shield.

Probably Davos for a slight majority, really depends on how quickly he breaks out the Fist.

Rogers is more than skilled enough to dodge out Davos, more than durable enough to take a couple of average Iron Fists and more than strong enough to knock him out with a hit or two.

@anthp2000: what do you define as 'average Iron Fists'?

Pretty much the only hits an Iron Fist would land in a fight against a competent fighter - if Steve just stands there and lets Davos hit him with a focused Fist (like the ones Danny hit Luke Cage and Elektra with while they were trash talking), he'll more than likely get KO'd for a handful of seconds the least, but in an actual fight where neither is holding back, I don't see him pulling off room level output.

I don't think Davos would land any hits before he goes down in the first place, but better safe than sorry.

What do you see as an average iron fist? The most average ones Davos tends to dish out are more than strong enough to pierce straight through a human's body or at least mutilate it.

@danieldaripper: Cap has taken blows from things that would destroy a normal human body.

Chitauri rifle (blew a bank vault door of it's hinges), Winter Soldier punch (smashed through solid concrete), Quicksilver punch (destroyed Ultron Drones). He could take one or two chi punches from Davos. But its more likely Cap would avoid them and knock out Davos before getting hit.

Cap is too strong and durable for Davos, IMO. Davos could only really hit skilled people with an AOE attack, and I think Cap would move in and incap before he does.

Every one of Steve's limbs can dish out extreme damage whereas only two of Davos's limbs can. Steve is skilled enough to avoid someones arms if it's going to mess him up. Even if they're on his skill level. Just take what he did to Bucky.

It's a good fight but I do think Steve can definitely win this.

Davos could use two Iron Fists right (granted he only did it once)? With his combat speed, skill, pain tolerance, and the fact that he always used lethal force with his Iron Fists (pretty much everyone he used it on died on impact), I could see Davos putting up a good fight before falling, even if he could only use one fist.

Davos stomps without the shield.

Cap. Guys like Davos and Danny are glass canons to super soldiers. And Cap's blunt force durability is insane. Pretty sure he can take a IF or two before going down but can't say the same for Davos. One hit from Cap would probably incap him and another would KO him for good. Also the skill difference is not as large as some people make it out to be.

When did a Chitauri rifle blow a bank vault off it's hinges? Other than that I think the iron fist can replicate the rest of those feats.

Danny and Davos are so disappointing compared to their comic versions.

A couple in NYC end up with a Chitauri rifle after the Battle of New York and use it to rob a bank. The destructive output actually looked very similar to what an Iron Fist punch would do to the door.

It is pretty in character for Steve to start fighting better when his enemy pulls out a dangerous weopon.

Steve probably wins because if one hand is lit Steve focus on not getting hit by the glowy fist while increasing his risk if getting hit with other limbs.

Cap wins. Sufficiently skilled that when combined with his superior stats it offsets any skill advantage Davos has. The IF is the only thing Davos can threaten Cap with and Cap has the stats and skill to not get hit and withstand it if he does get hit.

Davos, if he fights smart. Otherwise, Steve takes him down.
