I think even binary carol can't win doctor strange. Non binary then doctor strange stomps.

Strange most likely traps her in mirror dimension if he's in character.

Non-Binary Capitan wasn't that impressive. I doubt she moved at FTL speed.

That wasn't Binary, it was just Captain Marvels base powers. The inhibitor chip in her neck nurfed her for most the movie.

Strange. His showings against Thanos put him firmly beyond her level. If the worst comes to the worst he BFRs her into the Sun or the mirror dimension.

Marvel has allready stated that CM is The most powerfull Avenger. Not only that but she Will also Be the answer to defeating thanos.

And i think there was talk about her being more powerfull than thor, hulk and ironman combined, but im not 100% on that.

Doctor Strange's magic skills are very useful and besides from her speed I don't think Carol has any advantage. I mean , being able to contend against Thanos w/3 gem is a thing Carol wouldn't be able to replicate.

I thought Adam Warlock (post GOTG 2 credits) was going to be the guy to tip the scales against thanos?

makes sense about Carols place in the avengers I guess ( hulk should be strongest, but w.e.....actually, we may see he is when he overcomes his ptsd) thor w/o his axe would still get folded by thanos

OT: in character, morals on. I think strange could trap her or incapacitate her before she realizes how much of a threat he is. and its in his character to go for an incap rather than a kill here

Strange quite easily. Carol has no counter to any of his hax.

Strange turned a black home into butterflies. He wins. It's not close. He took on a guy with four infinity stones and did well. Hax win.

@exmaster3000: as confusing as it sounds, just because she’s the most powerful doesn’t mean she can beat anyone. Her and Strange have completely different power sets. And btw they said she’d be the strongest not the most powerful. There’s a difference. It’s easy for a magic user to overcome physicals.

I think that in binary mode Capitan should win this, as much as I want Strange to win. She's extremely fast (I doubt Strange can react in time) and possibly has enough raw power to break free from Mirror Dimension (Thanos did it with Power Stone but she's likely supposed to be able to hold her own against Thanos with stones).

Non-binary Carol has little chance though.

Just watched it last night, and someone needs to stop people from putting captain marvel against every powerhouse. She is not on Dr Stranges level and sure as hell not on Thor’s level. People just need to stop with this stuff it gets annoying

She did, but not in combat.

Strange pretty easily. He blocks her attacks with shields and then BFRs her (she has no idea how to deal with portals or the mirror dimension.)

Marvel doesn't blitz in fights as of yet so that argument doesn't necessarily apply.

Strange is a straight white male, he has no chance.

Doctor Strange uses the had force.

Chipped Carol loses, Strange should be quick enough to BFR her, while protecting from her blasts. Unchipped Carol should be fast enough to kill Strange before being BFR'd.

@thespartanb345t: Carol did blitz a lot in the movie, first when she destroyed the chip and was fighting Starforce, she moved like a beam of light and blitzed Bron-Char (i think it was him), and then when she learned to fly, she blitzed every ship. She can also blast him like she did against Yon Rogg at the end.

Carol is more than fast enough to blitz him if she wants.

There is no such thing as "Binary MCU Carol" we saw her with an inhibitor and without. No mention was made of Binary.

Strange should win. Without inhibitor Carol does have decent travel speed. But her combat speed isnt all that great. Even without the inhibitor she was tagged pretty easily by non enhanced humand/Kree. She can dish out somendamage but nothing Strange cant and hasnt countered.

I have no idea where people are getting FTL idea however. She flew into low orbit in like 1.5 to 2 seconds which is sub light not faster (light travels from the moon to earth in 1.3). Shes definitely hypersonic and I'd wager she will be FTL in a little over a month when endgame comes out.

All the Marvel High tiers (Thor, Strange, Hulk, Vision, and Wanda) would still beat her IMHO

She's a solid tier below Thor and Strange. He stomps.

Carol blitzes a lot in character, so she wins off of that.

It’s funny because Carol has yet to blitz anyone.

Honestly Carol, but’s it really hard to tell what the limits are to Strange’s abilities and what he could really do to her in a fight.
