Diana slices her apart.

1- She no sold shrapnel pieces from spaceship explosions.

2- She held a Kree alien tech sword barehanded and then she breaks the sword with ease, which can cut steel like butter.

She is incredibly durable to both energy and piercing. Clearly she is more durable than Steppenwolf who resisted to Diana's sword slash.

Round 1: Wonder Woman's morals don't stop her from killing so killing is definitely an option for her as well as with CM. Not in Binary CM has nothing much going for her other than her photon blasts which Diana is more than capable of shielding herself from. One strike with her sword and Carol is out

Round 2: This is a toughy because Binary is very powerful and as seen in Wonder Woman, when Diana is in god mode she is able to use telekinesis against Ares, disintegrating his swords before they can even reach her. CM has the ability to blitz Wonder Woman if she can get a hit with her photon blasts but Wonder Woman's reaction time is too quick for her. CM may have FTL travel speed but her reaction speed is no where near Diana's. Carol also needs large amounts of energy to stay in Binary which unless there are near any nuclear reactors near her she has a high chance of losing more energy the more she tries attacking. In god mode Diana was more than capable of absorbing Ares' lightning strikes with her gauntlets not only deflecting it back to him, but actually amplifying it. Number one, CM can't go near her with her telekinetic ability while in god mode. Number two, Diana would more than likely be able to deflect and absorb every hit Captain Marvel shoots at her. Number three, Carol's reaction time is no where near to that of Wonder Woman who saved an entire class of children from machine gun fire. In the end Diana is too fast and too smart for Carol. Carol would waste her energy flying around her and trying to hit her with her photon blast only for Diana to block and absorb them. If Captain Marvel tried to get up close Diana is fast enough to strike her with her sword which would slice her in half. In the end Diana would only absorb more of CM energy and keep getting stronger until she can deflect it all back to CM. Captain Marvel's body is like a battery, she can absorb vast amounts of energy but too much energy would cause her to implode. Considering she was absorbing the energy of all six stones in endgame and couldn't no sell a hit from the powerstone shows that Diana would be able to strike CM with an amplified photon blast which is too much she would be able to handle. Wonder Woman KO's this with either her sword or an amplified photon blast.

Diana cuts her up, and no an energy sword with no feats on Diana’s swords level =|= Diana’s Sword. That energy sword doesn’t prove Diana can’t cut her.

As of right now Carol is far to powerful for Diana

Carol is more 'powerful' if we're talking blasts and stuff but Diana can still slice her up.

Just a bad match up for Carol, Diana's shield and gauntlets can block all of Carol's ranged attacks. If Carol tries fight H2H, Diana's combat speed is much better and she has the better gear for it with her sword and lasso.

Eh, Diana hasn't shown the ability to block or absorb anything on Carol's level and she couldn't disintegrate Steppenwolf's weapon so it doesn't work on everyone. Carol takes it.

Since i didnt see any fighting from captain marvel i am gonna go with Wonder woman because when she was in god mode she trashed ares like he was nothing he couldnt even touch her and also wonder woman is skilled warrior and she have superior durability since she took punches from superman she moved a little bit and when thanos punched captain marvel she fly away .

If Diana lands an early lethal blow she could take it but I Think Carol likely bullrushes her disarms her and bullies her into submission.

Carol is above Diana at anything, she just doesn't have her cool weapons. That changes nothing. Carol stomps.

@finalkingthanos: Carol honestly can’t land a bullrush. They aren’t fast enough. Plus there is no specified distance in this thread. I’m pretty sure that means they’re 10ft apart. Diana likely gets the first hit. She has faster short blitzes.

And cqc favors Diana, a lot. Carol loses up close pretty much every time tbh.

@hermes1220: I think think she could bullrush with flight no problem Diana has been tagged by plenty of slower attacks, as always it's a good fight due to Diana's skill and gear but physically or h2h she would be stomped.

@finalkingthanos: What linear attacks has she been tagged by? Carol’s bullrush is mach 2 with highball. It’s very much like a bullet. She gets dodged and one shot.

How does Carol bully her? If they grapple that’s one thing. But Diana literally can control the pace of the fight in cqc. She has every advantage up close. Much better AP, speed, and durability to easily tank Carol’s attacks. Carol has bad striking feats atm. She wouldn’t put Diana down easily, at all. Carol gets mopped in cqc atm. Which I think gives Diana a comfortable majority in this fight because that’s what Carol always resorts to based on showings.

Are you wanting me to list every fight Diana has been in? Because she has been tagged in them all barring some fodder fights though even some of those.

I agree if it says in a cqc brawl Diana should take the advantage if she has her sword and shield but without them or if she loses them it's a mismatch just like we see in the movies.

It's a good fight either way since Carol has less feats against named opponents though clearly superior than most cbm characters in all but striking feats already.

I'm fine with arguments for either side in this battle.

@finalkingthanos: I mean you can, but the point is that Diana has consistently been hit by people who are equal or faster than her. Carol isn’t, she’s slightly above peak human. Diana is literally able to statue that level of speed. So bringing up other characters is pointless unless Carol carries feats that show she’s equal to them. Which she doesn’t. Everything that consistently hits Diana is mach speed.

I don’t understand the point of bringing up her gear. Unless it’s an attempt to somehow invalidate her win. It’s just as bad as people bringing Kryptonian’s speed, Thanos using stones, and any other character who has something that’s apart of their character. It shouldn’t be brought up unless that’s what we’re talking about, which we are not.

She’s only superior to most other high tiers in her universe. She’s very similar in most things to Kryptonians. She’s the value brand Kryptonian if we’re being real. Lacks the combat speed, reaction speed, and striking. Her energy projection isn’t bad though.

@hermes1220: that's debatable half the hits Diana receives arent in the midst of super speed combat the likes or Ares have punched her while lying on the ground.

Thanos couldn't tag Carol and neither could space ships and others until she let them the difference is the only thing arguable Diana can use here is her sword any other attack can be tanked or practically no sold.

The only thing she lacks is striking on a grand scale much like Diana I guess they both have feats of ragdolling fodder and feats of hitting Supes (Ares) and Thanos but based on her EG feats shes possibly the strongest and most durable to blunt force character there is in these two verses.

Other than that I dont know what else to discuss we both know your stance on the dceu and Diana especially is always the same and never changes.

Now that we have the new statement about WW's standard gear just being her armor and lasso, this looks like an even more solid win for Carol.

@karkus: Other than the trailer scene the new movie wont be doing many favours for her in a CV battles sense but the film should be really fun.

Diana’s sword can cut Superman, so it can definitely cut Carol because Superman has better piercing durability feats

Diana is faster in combat speed by a mile, able to block bullets easily, and react to lightning

I see no win conditions for Carol
