• Strictly H2H, no weapons or gear allowed.
• Win by Ko or incapacitation.

Round 2: Standart gear.

• Captain America has his Shield.
• Taskmaster has her sword, her shield, a knife, her hidden blade, her claws, a bow and 10 (normal) arrows, and a grapling hook.
• WIn by Ko, incapacitation, or death.

The fights take place on the bridge were Black Widow and Taskmaster fought. (No BFR)

Cap slaughters

Outskilling Bucky and fighting on par with Tchalla are better than failing to beat Widow

Taskmaster. Physically capable of beating down a super soldier, competes with more skilled characters than Steve, knows Steve’s fighting style inside and out and has way more versatile gear than Steve in round 2 (the vibranium shield’s superior durability probably doesn’t even make a difference in a street level fight).

@hellfireunit: Red Guardian indicates that Taskmaster can put the hurt on people physically comparable to Steve. Natasha indicates that Taskmaster can get the better of people more skilled than Steve. To me those are separate pieces of the equation that fit together here. I see no indication that either Ultron or Tony have anything like the kind of close combat tactical strategy that Taskmaster has. Once Tony used his AI to analyze Steve’s fighting style, he completely beat the shit out of him which is basically the exact thing Taskmaster is designed to do.

Well yeah, Amendment answered this thread. No need for more discussion. She’s showed what she needed to, and she has some nice weaponry to throw at Cap as well.

Cap stomps. If Taskmaster couldn't beat Nat then she has no chance against a similarly skilled and physically superior opponent.

Steve stomps. TM’s only feat is bullying a fat unskilled Russian and TM copied Nat’s skill and couldn’t even beat the real Nat. The copies are clearly nothing compared to the original so not only does Steve have a decent skill advantage, he’s also superior physically.

Before Shang Chi Steve was the most skilled in the MCU, not to mention he has big stat advantage. TM isn’t even more skilled than the high-tiers she copied. She doesn’t stand a chance here.

Red Guardian seemed to be even stronger than Cap or Bucky and was getting put on his ass by Taskmaster.

Fight goes either way high diff imo if Taskmaster is in the zone and not in jobber mode. Maybe 55/45 in Steve's favor just due to overwhelming amount of feats to draw from.

Taskmaster couldn't even beat Widow. Steve breaks her apart with superior skill and strength.

Cap is way too much for Taskmaster.

Cap destroys. Taskmaster couldn’t even defeat Nat and people who try to bring up TM wrecking Red Guardian forget to realize he’s a trash and unskilled combatant and not near Cap’s level.

Cap at his peak was able to outmatch T'Challa, Bloodlusted Bucky, and go toe to toe with Ultron (briefly).

This disappointing iteration of TM is toast.

@amendment50: I think iron man used his AI to create specific *counter measures* to steves fighting style, after analyzing it. Tasky copys after analyzing, not the same thing.

R1 cap

R2 is hard, taskmaster has lots of gear. I'll say cap 6/10 high diff. Hes fought people with similar skill and equipment and held his own well (his first fight with WS comes to mind), not to mention the stat gap, maybe not enormous, but present anyway.

Taskmaster slaughters. Red Guardian>Cap in physicals, Natasha>Cap in skill. Open and shut case.

Cap claps easily, someone lock this trash. Task master can't beat nat, but cap could easily wreck nat. So cap trumps tm without much effort

Had to bump this because of the amount of rubbish im seeing.

Taskmaster had one full fight with BW and kicked the tar out of her. And she wasn't even there to fight Nat in the first place. I'm not sure where this "TM couldn't even beat Nat" came from.

TM also showed the damage output to hurt super soldiers.

There is no way Cap "stomps" or that Taskmaster "wasn't impressive".

Round 1 - 6/10 to Steve just because of superior durability feats. Very tough fight though.

Round 2 - TM has the greater array of gear but Steve has shown greater proficiency with his. 50/50.

Cap wins both rounds if no trick arrows.

TM doesn't have "countermeasures ready" like Friday. She will fight like only one of Clint, Bucky or Nat at any time, and Cap with his own skill can handle that being stronger faster and as durable.
