How big is he in the picture ?

People have argued Diana even with her sword can't beat him.

By this logic, Cap dies by accident and thus is a huge mismatch.

@batman242: people have also argued Black Panther has a good chance against her, and that Spiderman is stornger than her. I wouldn't take the opinion of the "people" too seriously regarding MCU vs DCEU matchups in particular.

OT: I dunno how big exactly Scott is there, but he looks like around the Hulk's size, in which case he just steps on Cap.

I was genuinely curious to the proof on that as I haven't watched any of Spider-Man's recent films and after the people repeatedly neglecting to give the feat, I looked for it myself and was sorely disappointed. The ship feat is blown out of proportion just like almost every other MCU feat.... Quite sad, honestly.

I don't think Cap can hurt him enough to put him down. Scott towers over the truck, he's got to be well over 20 feet tall.

We've seen lots of people react to the shield, but even allowing that Cap lands a shield toss here, I don't see it doing enough damage. It would be proportionally the size of a Frisbee to Scott. Might hurt, but won't put him down. Then Scott tosses the shield a few hundred yards away and Cap really has nothing to hurt him with. Cap gets squished.

Maybe I've forgotten some outstanding durability feats for Giant Man. But the shield has cut clean through this robot like it wasn't there.

Those robots where extremely durable to force and bulletproof. The shield has also wrecked a Quinjet and cut into Ultron who no sold minigun fire. That aimed at Scoots throat should take him out unless I'm missing something.

Cap wins due to expensive and skills, he can go toe to toe with Iron man and Ultron, Scott will get schooled by the greatest fighter/tactical in the MCU world

Morals OFF??? Cap under 3 seconds wins this than but will take some time without the shield I’d say but he still wins even without the shield

Cap would never get a clean shot off with his shield. Scott could just stomp the ground or toss some vechiles and it’s over. He’s slow, but not that slow in giant form. Hell if he just fell in caps general direction he could squash him...

@amcu: you think Scott cannot tank gunfire? Or casual hammer swings from Thor? If he's even a fifth- as durable as Giant Man was in the Airport Battle, Steve's shield will do nothing.

Those drones were unfinished Iron Man suits, and the particular suit Steve hit had already taken damage from Thor if I'm not mistaken.

If this version of Ant-Man can‘t not tank gun-fire, he loses.

Cap would ram his shield into his head.

I guess a cop with a handgun would solo this version of Scott. Totally legit.

The Civil War Scott was durable enough to no-sell War Machine's artillery and strong enough to accidentally move a jumbo jet. He required being thrown off balance before the double punch of Iron Man and War Machine (each one of which packs a helluva more force than Cap) could even knock him down.

I know this is a different Ant Man, but if he's anywhere CLOSE to how he was in the airport fight (like a third), he kills Cap by accident

This version of Scott isn't remotely close to the size or strength of Giant Man. He struggled to stop a large truck with this body whereas Giant Man casually sent an entire bus flying casually by shoving it with his leg.

Regardless Scott didn't tank gunfire as Giant Man. Contrary to popular belief if you watch the scene closely you can see that the munitions War Machine used on him don't make contact with his body. Rhodey didn't want to hurt him, just disorient him. You can see very clearly that none of the explosions actually hit him.

Those drones where Iron Legion bots. Not unfinished Iron Man suits. There not necessarily as powerful as Iron Man suits but they are completed. And it didn't have any notable visual damage.

That's it a split second before Cap cut it in two. This is how they look normally.

There's no real difference.

Again I've only watched Ant Man and Was once and I could be forgetting some feats. But from what I recall I don't see why he can't cut his throat with the shield. He's morals off here and Giant Man isn't going to be reacting to a shield throw at all.

If morals are off, then Ant-Man uses Darin Cross' goop gun.

This is a mismatch. Ant-Man can:

1) Shrink cap

2) Stomp Cap - I mean literally

3) Use Ants to swarm and bite Cap to death

4) Grow ants and have them eat cap.

2 can play this game

1. cap bash his head with his shield
2. cap breaks a glass window and slice his throat with it.
3. cap breaks his kneecap with his shiled
4. cap throws his shield on his throat

Giant Man should win because of his strength and size.

@amcu brings up good points about Caps damage output/piercing ability with his shield and we don't really know how durable Giant Man is at this state/ size (nothing memorable that I can remember either).

By feats, I think Cap can take round 1. Even round 2, he could get some wins by out maneuvering Giant Man. His speed/agility is going to make it hard for Giant Man to touch him + tactics ( Caps already has used environment against opponents) and strength (can lift up 10+ tons while heavily injured) could trip him up enough to get Giant Man to fall off Stark Tower.

The OP says Scott can't use Pym Particles here so Scott can't shrink him or anything. He can get a bunch of ants but... I mean, I don't know how effective that could be. If they start far enough away Steve might be able to throw the shield at his legs/knees to get him to buckle and then tackle him. Scott can't do a lot with Cap's training and his shield except swarm him with ants as a distraction. I'd say Steve probably wins the first round.

And then Steve just dies in the second round. There's nothing he can do.
