Battle Takes place on the Boat where Cap fought Batroc in TWS. Conditions are the same.

Neither opponent knows the others capabilities.

Round 1: Wolverine has bone claws. Cap has no shield. Morals on. Start 10 meters away, with clear vision on each other. Fight to knockout.

Round 2: Wolverine has Adamantium claws. Cap has shield. Morals off. Start 20 meters away, with clear vision on each other. Fight to knockout.

@lukehero: We've seen that Wolverine can be knock out however and I don't think its outlandish to say that Caps physicals and skills would allow him to land a solid hit on.

@spector_rand: Wolverine In Bone Claw mode isn't hard to knock out, with Adamantium he took blows from Juggernaut and Blob so Nope don't see Steve KOing him. No way in hell does Steve hit harder than Juggernaut.

@lukehero: He also got knocked out by a bullet and a tree. Juggy barely has any decent striking feats in that movie anyway. IMO Logan cant touch cap, he isnt as skilled as Batroc who couldnt hit cap with his shield. All cap needs to hit is a solid strike from the shield and Logan would go down.

Steve the first round, Logan in a close one the second round, and Logan gets a couple more wins the third round.

It's too bad Hugh is only doing one more Wolverine movie, he did a great job as Logan.

@stormdriven: Yeah, I honestly struggle to see anyone else playing him.

@spector_rand: Those are both fixed in later movies, he tanks bullets fine in wolverine orgins he's shot in the head several times by Agent Zero and again in X3 he is pumbled by Juggernat. So not only would you have to ignore the fact in his latest films he doesn't get KOED by bullets, you would also have to ignore his better and more consistent feats. Unless you just want to lowball. Cap isn't going to hit him as hard as Juggs or Blob for that matter. In orgins Gambit knocks him through a wall and he bounces back with very little damage.

@spector_rand: Can't touch Cap? You mean the guy that was able to tag Deadpool who by feats makes Cap look like a slow poke?

@lukehero: Conceded on the durability feats for wolverine, but caps combat speed was above deadpools, not to mention that fight was two on one and deadpool could only come at logan from really only a single direction, as victor had his back.

@lukehero: Deadpool has Logan beat in like five seconds before Victor comes and saves him from being decapitated.

@spector_rand: No at the start of the 1 vs 1 part of the deadpool fight Logan stabs him. Go back and watch the clip. Deadpool was slicing bullets? How is Cap's combat speed anywhere near that?

@lettsplay10: Round 1 is morals on, Cap is willing to kill but he doesn't use gruesome moves like beheading a humanoid. In the other rounds Logan gets his Adamantium so cutting off the head is a no go.

@lukehero: Personally i think thats more him timing his strikes with the sword, a matter of skill not raw speed, but i'll admit thats arguable. However in his fight with Logan, they have easily comparable combat speed, with the slight edge towards deadpool and that isnt due to Logans heightened speed as he gets tagged by humans all the time.

Alright Cap struggled in a fight with Batroc(guess that means Cap sucks right?) and has been tagged by normal humans. See, what I just did there, anybody can play the lowball game. You gotta stop focusing on low end feats. Wokverine reacted to Deadpools cyclops blast and blocked it with his claws. He isn't slow.

Wolverine is too durable to be knocked out by cap but Logan will have a hard time getting a good blow on Steve. Logan 6/10

The difference is Wolverine is way more durable. He taken shot guns with out His healing factor and still fought for several minutes. Cap has only taken small handguns. And Logan survived a nuke, pre adamantium.

Strength? Cap has some good feats. But Logan was literally tossing around a giant samurai robot and ripping it apart with his bare hands. He is significantly stronger.

Logan has faster reaction as well. Cap blocks bullets with a fricken sheild so nothing he's done is bullet time. Logan kept up with Wade, who deflected multiple machine guns. And Logan has deflected that guys throwing spikes off his claws in X3.

Hasn't this been done before?

Only thing I'm completely sure on is that Steve's not killing Logan round 3. Other rounds could go either way

@allstarsuperman: Wolverine hasn't shown near the strength of Cap. Just Cap holding up a motorcycle effortlessly with women on it is more impressive strength wise than anything Logan has done. Let alone his strength feat of throwing the motorcycle thru a jeep like it was a paperweight.

I do think Logan wins but he's not as strong.

Um. No he was ramming in to the Silver Samurai and letting gravity do the work to knock it down. One the SS cut off Logan's claws he actually out grapples Logan and stretches his arms out as he drains his healing factor. Yes Logan did rip away some of the pieces of SS metal suit, but that's not beyond Cap who can do this & this. If anything Cap is clearly stronger.

Yes it has, but now cap has more feats every-time they show a new clip from Age of Ultron. Once the movie comes out he's gonna have a crap load of new feats to choose from.

Also one kick from the WS sent a guy flying upwards into the plane and made it blow up. So striking power, iffy who it would really go to. Cap will realize it's metal after the first few punches. Point is though, Cap isn't knocking him out with Adamantium and all logan needs to due is stab Cap in the face, throat, lungs, or heart and it's over.

Wolverine can be knocked out if hit in the head hard enough. Remember that Sabretooth knocked Wolverine out by hitting him with a large tree branch. Even the car crash knocked Wolverine out and all he his was a windshield and snow.

Yes, but as I keep saying that was in earlier films in the later films he's getting repeatedly hit and tossed around by Juggernaut and he gets hit by the Blob(who's body was hard enough to block a tank round) and he has no problems at all. Again we can't just focus on he's low feats and also latest showings are more important.

That only means that Cap isn't guaranteed to knock Wolverine out in the first hit. You say that we can't just focus on his low feats but you are only wanting to consider his high end feats. Cap has the benefit of never becoming tired. All his strikes are going to be the same level of strength. All he needs to do is keep up those jabs and Wolverine would eventually get tagged in such a way that he drops. Even iron-jawed fighters shatter like glass if hit in the right way. Movie Wolverine is no different.

Durability is not an indicator of strength. So Blob tanking a tank shell doesn't speak to his striking power at all. Wolverine can take hits, sure. But he can't always take hits. There is more than enough evidence to suggest that Cap can eventually knock Wolverine out with enough time.
