Ollie was barely able to fight Deathstroke on mirakuru. Cap is more impressive in terms of stats and skill.

It might be a little bit more fair if you make Caps gun faulty so he shoots himself, and load it with explosive rounds. But even then he should stomp.

That's pretty generic.

@stormdriven: just wondering, who in the nolanverse showed arrow catching ability, pretty nolanverse was a bit below arrowverse, and arrowverse is below mcu mostly cause of lower budget

Budget has nothing to do with it. Ollie isn't meant to be Superhuman. Steve is.

For a Sprint of 100-200 meters...and those athletes are ready to keel over after. Steve ran Several Blocks at that speed with no signs of tiring. Also, keep in mind that was immediately after his treatment...he wasn't 100%.

@shawnbaby: Budget has everything to do with it, slade is supposed to be very superhuman, but he never saw him do lots of acrobatics cause in the end it would cost a lot,

the scene where he chases 1940's cars isnt that impressive, ollie does the same thing in season 1 with a modern motorcycle, and only lost it when other traffic cut him off

What Slade actually did in the show is more important than what he's suppose to be. For example, Static was suppose to be as powerful as Magneto but we know he isn't based on feats.

@reaverlation: so they're superhuman, have superhuman strength, but not in their legs/can't jump, they made sure everyone with mirikuru always had their feet planted on the ground cause it would've been way too expensive to get wire rigging for dozens of guys that should be able to leap 10-20 feet in the air, sure they wouldn't necessarily be able to do a quad backflip, but they should've at least been able to jump high, but it would've cost far too much for a tv budget

Oliver has done lots of acrobatics. So have Roy, Black Canary, and others. It doesn't take a huge budget to perform acrobatics. That's all choreography. Slade and the others on mirakuru was shown to be strong, fast and durable. That's all they were meant to be.

how can you really be arguing that a tv isn't destined to have less impressive feats than a full scale summer blockbuster on the simple fact that the budget difference is huge?

If they wanted to make Slade jump really high...they could have...it is not an expensive special effect and they have used Wire Work in the show in the past.

You can't blame the budget because Arrow isn't as impressive physically as Captain America. Nolan's Batman movies had huge Budgets as well...and yet Oliver is more impressive than Bruce, Slade is more impressive than Bane, And Canary is more impressive than Catwoman.

Hell Yes. The only thing Slade has on Cap is Durability. All other Stats are firmly in Cap's Court.

Except striking power. And skill. And I don't think Cap's ever compensated for being badly outmatched in those areas before.

Steve showed as much or more skill in Winter Soldier than Slade...and his striking power is greater. Steve punches through Submarine Glass.

@shawnbaby: its not cheap, and it is very time consuming, tv shows have a much shorter time limit, i actually work in vfx and i know the time given to work on any scene in a tv show is much shorter than the time to work on any movie shot, there is no way they could've had slades army jumping around like the chitauri, you cannot tell me you know more about vfx unless you have worked in the industry longer than i have, its not so simple, and nolan really thought he was being impressive, even if he didnt think through the fact that the worlds greatest martial artist never uses more than one style
