He'd still win. Steve can easily deform highly durable metals with his strikes. A kick like the one he used on Spider-Man would seriously hurt an elephant.

Ya, can we not make threads where Captain America, of all characters, is supposed to hurt/kill innocent elephants? I’m going with the elephant because I can’t justify Cap’s morals allowing him beating down an elephant in a random encounter. Cap loses by retreating, removing himself from the battle.
It might take a long time to do it because the Wakandans make terrible weapons, but that makes it even better as this ensures that the animal dies a slow and painful death. If Cap had his Stark-made shield, he could throw it and cut off the elephant's trunk. It would still be a slow and painful death as the elephant bleeds out. Or possibly dies to infection or simply gets eaten alive by predators because its too wounded to resist. Either way, Cap harvests the tusks and sells it. With the money, he buys guns to shoot more elephants. Eventually, Cap will build a factory farm that harvests elephant tusks.

I live in longbeach NY right by the sea and over 120 years ago we used elephants to drag the rocks out to the beach to make each bead a " jeti" each one of those rocks weighs about 3,000 lbs easy .. elephants moved them around stacked them like it was stacking plastic cups at a pharmacy

@ganon15: The beam he lifted in the Winter Soldier was around that weight, though it's probably his maximum. He was also able to contend with Spider-Man in Civil War, among other feats.
Panther took down a giant Rhino much larger than normal Rhino's with low difficulty, and they were much faster than an elephant so Cap should win idk how many hits it would take.
