MCU: Black Widow vs. Taskmaster

Rematch! No BFR, tactical escapes or chemical agents involved in the fight this time. In a pure battle to the death, who wins?

Both characters as of Black Widow (2021).

Bloodlusted, and familiar with each other as of the end of the film.

Victory by death only.

Round 1: Hand-to-hand only.

Round 2: Standard gear and suits.

Nat already disarmed Taskmaster and took her helmet off.. no reason BW doesn’t do the same here and then bloodlusted removes TMs head with a garrote.

Taskmaster was portrayed as simply being better than Widow, who only survived the first encounter because of TM’s single mindedness due to her being under mind control. Widow can gain the upper hand now and again, as can happen in most fights, but in a protracted deathmatch TM should win.

Black Widow outskills and wins again. The first time she fought Taskmaster she had no gear and she was in a nearly fatal car accident that temporarily KO’ed her, and she was visually unprepared for her fighting style. The second time she broke her nose right before the fight then got ganged up on and pounded by like 20 peak human character and after that she still outperformed Taskmaster in hand to hand while holding back immensely and not trying to hurt her.

Widow. I didn't find taskmaster impressive. Seemed like nat pretty much figured out how beat her

Taskmaster beats her face in. She was clearly Superior to Natasha

Nat gets destroyed. She died in 10 seconds if not for Taskmaster not caring about her in the first encounter and her likewise being slowed in the second is what have Nat a chance to tag her.

Black Widows just got that will power yo

The fights in this movie were dumb. Like wtf was that final… exchange? Calling it a fight is a disservice to actual fights. All Antonia did was try and choke her… like, what?

Seems pretty clear that without dumbassery like that, Taskmaster would take it eventually.

Well the movie seemed clear in its intention that by the end Nat was better than Taskmaster. Even after collapsing the Red Room surviving all of that collateral and the fall, then after fighting and eventually getting overwhelmed by a group of Widows, Nat still went on to disarm Taskmaster and achieve her goal of freeing Antonia from the mind control. Whilst Natasha was holding back and Antonia was programmed to kill.

A prime Nat with no reason to hold back should secure a win

@gas777: Na she was more injured for the first fight as she was literally unconscious right before it. Her getting outskilled in the first fight was due to injury and getting visually taken by surprise when Taskmaster mirrored her moves

I don't know why but I see Antonia as a better combatant than Nat....just my opionion....The first fight was amazing, the second was a bit dissapointing. Nat just took her sword and then jumped on her shoulders and removed her helmet....over....that wasn't even a fight.

The Conditions in OP don't change anything, if Widow wanted to kill Taskmaster by the end she could of done it.

At this point I really don't know. Taskmaster completely demolished Nat in their first fight then in their second fight, she won against Taskmaster despite being twice as knocked out and holding back.

Taskmaster seemed superior but maybe we'll get more information when the Black Widow movie documentary.

Round 1: Taskmaster wins. Natasha actually doesn't have the damage output to bypass Taskmaster's durability.

Round 2: Natasha can pull off a win like in their second fight. We know Natasha won because she managed to switch her fighting style and quickly end the fight.

Cate Shortland, Brad Winderbaum and Scarlett Johansson all said it. When Natasha experienced Taskmaster's fighting style, she was at a loss and we were gonna see Natasha fight where her old tricks will no longer work.

Natasha managed to defeat Taskmaster by switching up her fighting style. Given how she has her gear in this round, she can do like in their second fight and switch up her fighting style and then end the fight with her electric gear if she plays it smart.

@zafros13: It doesn't really matter with gadgets.

1st round: 50/50, Taskmaster is far stronger and maybe just as skilled, however Nat is more analytical, that's how she bested her the 2nd time, I think they're just as likely, remember that even tho Taskmaster has the reading ability, Nat was caught by surprise the 1st time.

2nd round: Nat 7/10, her equipment is better and I'm sure she'd know how to use it.
