Mayuri kurotsuchi vs Orochimaru

i've been deciding whether or not to do a Naruto vs Bleach series of battles and i thought "sure why not?" so here is the first battle i thought off 
 
Orochimaru vs Mayuri Kurotsuchi 
 
both pale skinned, sadistic mad scientist who push both ethics and their own bodies to the limit in the name of furthering their research, question is who would win if they clashed??? 
 
RULES- 
 
-Both combatants can see and hear each other 
-Both combatant's abilities work against each other as if they were from the same anime (in scenarios where sealing off chakra is brought up, reiatsu equals chakra and in vice versa 
 
- most importantly SPEED IS EQUAL. i do this not to nerf Mayuri, but rather to make the fight more interesting and not have people say he wins via speed blitz 
 
-fight takes place in the Gobi Desert

Well this deserves a bump in my opinion. Of course with both manga srill going things could change in a heartbeat. As of now I would say kurotsuchi. Immobilizing poison being my reason.

Mayuri easily.. especially with prep, and experience.

I'm going with orochimaru. Considering they're both preppers, I'd say edo tensei is a better option than what mayuri has came up with till now. I mean.. mayuri will enter with a sunflower suit and poisons, while orochimaru gets hashirama.

If there's no prep involved..

Mayuri's shikai isn't touching orochimaru, and they have serious resistance to poisons (according to anko). Mayuri has the experience advantage, but oro has the skill advantage. Plus he really has a serious amount of techniques. Manda is stronger and faster than the bankai.

Overall, going with orochimaru.

But it's nice to see an OP active after two years lol.

Edit: Am I missing something? Everyone else is saying mayuri? :(

Mayuri has better tech and he has exactly the tools to take down somebody like Orochimaru while Orochimaru cannot say the same.

@the_stegman: If you want to make this Fair get rid of Edo Tensi along with speed being equalized.

@princearagorn1: XD nah mate. Orochimaru I think has a good chance. Mostly with his techniques. Genjutsu in particular but others as well. I'd say a pretty convincing argument for Orochimaru. Found this thread with the intentions of making one myself, but since it was already done just bumped it. But yeah, I think it'd be a close battle regardless. For Orochimaru's poison resistance, Mayuri does change up the poisons he uses and stuff. So poison resistances may not be as pertinent. I will say thinking of Manda battling it out with Ashisoki Jizo is pretty kick ass. lol.

I am a fan of both series but Orochimaru for the win. He has more techniques under him then Captain Kurotsuchi does, and he neutralizes all of the Captains poison attacks. Orochimaru was able to take on 4 Tailed Naruto alone which devastated an entire Forest.

Mayuri saves him for a specimen.

You cant ınjure Orochimaru with physical attacks..You need to seal him... Orochimaru can fool with him.. Snakes, Clones, Body Parts etc etc.. And he has Edo-Tensei he can summon all dead Akatsuki Members or Former Hokages..

I Think he dont need it. Orochimaru has far sharper mind then Mayuri in the battlefield.. He is lost his arms and ninjutsu abilities but still he can fight against Sannins, 4 Tailed Form Kyuubi, and others.... He is slave to Kage in one day.... Mayuri is the freak and powerfull opponent but Orochimaru too much for him..

Mayuri of course. Btw mayuri make "drugs" not poison(either for healing or killing)and there's no antibodies can resist it w/o even encountering it. Making antidote is to knowing the poison. So even w/ prep could do nothing to what mayuri's drug Cuz he always change and make a new one.

Lol well I would say Edo Tensei gives it to the snake man....but now Mayuri has zombies too so....

Umm Orochimaru does not have Edo Tensei here, that requires dead bodies and tons of prep, anybody making an arguement for Edo Tensei is completely invalid.

Second saying anything Orochimaru has is significantly faster than a Shinigami Captain is a joke.

Third Orochimaru has resistance to many poisons... just like Szayelaporo who also fell to Kurotsuchi's drugs, Orochimaru has built up resistance to many poisons in the Narutoverse but has nothing to say he would be able to immune anything of Kurotsuchi's Caliber or composition. Having misc resistance to poisons doesn't make you immune to all of them.

Litterally anything Mayuri throws at Orochimaru is going to leave him paralyzed and ready for experimenation. >:D

Well the battle doesnt state prep so there is no prep but still with prep, does that mean he gets dead bodies? For Edo Tensei you need dead bodies so it's not exactly standard, he doesn't just carry dead bodies around with him.

And op doesnt say orochimaru cant use edo-tensei.

Non the less Orochimaru cant be poisoned by mayuri due to orochimarus high antibody count and immunity to poison (saying otherwise is an assumption which is moot). plus in part1 Orochimaru showed impressive speed against sasuke in the forest of death. plus he had the ability to liquefy and turn to mud when wounded.

Current Oro chimaru stomps.

Orochimaru. Greater durability, Sword of Kusanagi, summons, curse mark, and he's immune to poison, along with substitutions and clones.

Tough fight. Mayuri's bankai is deadly while oro can summon manda or rashomon gates...dunno really could go either way

Honestly this is a really good fight, I could see it going either way

Orochimaru with Kusanagi via Reverse Deepthroat No Jutsu

Mayuri due to more powerful and varied tech, as well as raw power in general. He can also survive any injury as long as his head isn't destroyed, so seeing as how Orochimaru has no knowledge of that, Mayuri effectively can't be killed.

Edo tensei is quite something but let's pretend mayuri has a clue of what's coming... he would probably bring back the captain commander yamamoto as a zombie as well as a few other monsters able to pretty much make a barbecue out of the enemies.. (snake meat anyone?)

Mayuri wins, he never goes into a fight without at least 3 backup plans. If Mayuri gets so much as an hour to prep this is a stomp. Even without prep Mayuri has sustained injuries that would kill pretty much anyone. His body mods also make him very difficult to kill.
