SCENARIO:

Howling, abrasive sand the colour of rust and the texture of an iron file swirls through the air in a blinding squall as the sun glowers on the horizon, red and dull like drying blood, preparing to plunge the world into darkness. Ahead, a rotten and crumbling city of a long-lost world, feculent with decay, squats amidst the wastes like rotten teeth, its skeletal towers leaning crazily in haphazard disarray. The dried and yellowing bones of its inhabitants lie largely hidden beneath rubble and drifts of sand where they fell. Concealed somewhere within is the Great McGuffin each man has learned is there, and has come to retrieve -- unaware that others too seek the same prize.

Mindset: Each acts according to his nature. They are not there to kill one another, but to grab the Great McGuffin. Some, like Snake or Dredd, will not think twice about taking the life of anyone who stands in their way, while others, like Finn or Neville, may have qualms about unnecessarily hurting someone else, but they are all grimly determined to fetch the Great McGuffin, and will use force if necessary to stop the others from getting it.

Prep/Equipment: While not necessarily expecting a conflict, the post-Apocalypse is a dangerous place, and all have their typical load-out with them. This means they're likely to have only small arms and rifles with them, though they also have any special equipment they are known to carry; Dredd will have his Lawgiver pistol, the Vault Dweller will have his Pip Boy, Finn will have a sword, and so on. Each has appropriate transportation for the wastes, which means some kind of rat-rodded ex-police car for Mad Max, some kind of candy creature for Finn, the Vault Dweller will be driving a Highwayman, Dredd will be on his Lawmaster motorcycle, and so forth.

Win conditions: The winner must make off with the Great McGuffin without being stopped by the others. Whether this means sneaking away unseen or killing everyone else or simply out-racing them with sheer speed.

As night falls across the wastes, which warrior rides off with the prize into the desolate distance?
