Master chiefs reaction time out of armor is 20 milliseconds  it increses with adrenaline (a normal humans reaction time increses by 10% to 20% with adrenaline) 20 milliseconds ×20%= 4 milliseconds

The armor increase his reaction time by a factor of 5 witch would make it .8 milliseconds in armor

Going with the Chief

As much as I like Deathstroke, Master chief takes this. Chief simply overall outclasses deathstroke in more ways, he's a more advanced super-soldier. Chief has a more advance arsenal and I don't see slade penetrating mjonlir.

Spartans can run 65mph at best and even faster in gen 2 armor.

Chief wins this. He has an energy sword. All he has to do is stab Deathstroke.

@sirmethos: I can agree with Cap having more skill (specifically in hand to hand combat, chief beats him in weapons proficiency), but experience? Don't know how much time had supposed to have passed on the marvel universe, but chief has nearly 30 years live combat experience. Cap shouldn't be anywhere near that.

I'd say Deathstroke simply because his experience is more impressive. He's survived a fight with Lobo before so there's really no argument that can be made in Chief's favor about Chief being stronger

There's a point when the amount of experience you have in a combat situation levels off with respect to how efficient you are in combat. This isn't Diablo or a D&D rpg game. You don't level up with experience. Your skills don't make huge massive improvements. Experience can only get you so far when you're completely outclassed in every physical way. Beside that chief opponents makes up for quantity and these can consist of numerous scarabs, wraiths, hunters, warden enterals and etc. They're not a force to be reckon when in huge quantity. Not saying chief has better experience but you underrating him. New 52 lobo isn't that impressive and not to mentioned slade lost badly in the fight with lobo destroying him which wasn't a good feat to bring up. You might try bringing successful feats next time since this hardly qualify as one. Also he used nth metal armor in that battle, the armor that boost his physical stats.The ABC logic is always flawed and isn't a logically way to determine who'll win in a fight.

The argument that can be made in chief's side is the various advantages he has over slades. Obviously chief is physically better than slade (stronger, faster and better reflexes). Chief also has the edge in technology, and firearms/weapons. Just in case you bring up the godkiller and promethium sword, read the OP since slade only has standard gear. The biggest issue for slade is getting past chief's armor and shields. Slade's ballistics will be easily shrugged off and ignored by chief's shielding, as well as his knifes and katanas. You may argue the same could be said with the Ikon suit's shields. Though not exactly, while the shield would most certain be impervious to chief's ballistic rounds, it won't react to the energy sword. In rebirth issue 1 wintergreen states the suit shields only react the kinetic energy, meaning the heat/plasma base sword would ignore shield since they won't react. If that's not enough the Ikon suit shield don't react to being stabbed by sharp objects. As seen in issue 14 when his arm got stabbed by a needle as well as the scan below.

Bump. Top tier matchup .. I see Slade winning 6/10 times.

MC wins, 9 years ago slade's weapons werent all that op. Give slade some decent armor and so on, and yeah he could take a slight majority, but I doubt it. MC wins 10/10 but he will have to work for it every time. Energy sword is going to delete most of slade's weaponry.

@merulezall: Slade's standard weapons from 9 years ago are literally the same as they are today. Prometheium sword, energy lance, etc. Are you saying MC takes it 10/10 overall or just without Slade's ikon suit?

This fight really depends on the scenario. Master Chief has higher strength and speed while Deathstroke is more intelligent and superior in reaction time.

If we're talking empty room or plain view football field type thing then Chief is going to take it most likely.

If you put them in a warehouse, a small town, jungle, something with cover and distance then Deathstroke is likely taking it ten for ten.

Does Slade's current gear include the Ikon suit? If so, he wins every time.

Otherwise I think this is a hard match, and could go either way every time.

@wolverinebatmanftw: I think he's currently using his Post-Crisis armour. But his gear is still OP, and decent enough to get through Mjolnir.

Slade by a hair

Slade is a tactical genius and its manifested in his combat ability - situationally, Deathstroke can pull off a win. More often than not John takes it, however.

Slade's standard gear is not enough to get through Mjolnir's shield and armor, meanwhile MC only has to pierce him with the energy sword to land a killing blow. With the superior overall physicals, that would be the likely result of this fight.

I'd say Slade is more skilled and is better suited to a one-on-one fight but Chief has better weaponry and MJOLNIR give him a massive advantage in strength and durability.
