That sounds like a pretty accurate assessment.

it all depends on the ammo, if MC has unlimited or near unlimited ammo and plenty of room to retreat and not close with the spartans, he could just back-pedal and pick them off all day. And it depends on the Spartan shield, if it is bulletproof MC doesn't stand a chance because I don't think the 300 would be so terrified of gunfire, I think they would be startled by it the first time they saw it, but immediately thereafter would be grabbing for the gun and wanting to try it out. Unless conditions favored MC perfectly he would lose

The game is not logical to base your argument off of. They need to make it fun....it wouldnt be fun if you need to butt someone 7 times with the gun before they died. Also a gun but from a Spartan wearing armor would be like getting rammed in the head with a semi-truck.
