Marco the Phoenix vs Natsu Dragneel

It is not really clear yet , but it seem that flames power don't work on Marco according to last chapter because he is special or something, if that true then Marco easily

Need to know more about Marco’s flames and whether he has advanced armament.

Marco blitzes. Speed difference is insane af. GmG that copy guy's lightning magic took two seconds to rain from the height of a building and no one could dodge it. It was considered too fast for them.

Even if we assume Natsu has gotten twice or thrice as fast since then, he'd still be moving in slow-motion for Marco.

Marco doesn't use fire as an attack or he will be healing his opponent instead of beating them.

I would be rooting for Marco. But Natsu does have the advantage.

Marco can't use his fire powers against Natsu. But with armament haki he can just fight Natsu physically. Because of the caliber Marco is. There is no way he doesn't have it. Unless Natsu is able to continously close the distance. He can't stop Marco from healing and he can't beat him in a battle of attrition. Ace fought Jinbei for 5 days straight and Marco was a lot stronger than both at the time. He's a bit stronger than he was before now.

@rawsos: He won't even have time to react to Marco kicks so not really. they aren't really limitations due his speed. his kicks aren't flame based, his clash with Prometheus dwarfed a sword that was stated to be 1km tall in the databook so not really.

@rawsos: Marco doesn't have to use his fire powers to combat Natsu. He can just use armament haki coated physical attacks instead. Or just his clawed bird feet if he doesn't have armament haki for some reason. Marco is a Zoan. Not a haki-less fire logia like Ace. He doesn't need to depend on fire based attacks to fight his opponents.

Not really sure who wins but Natsu can't just eat him. The people that said Natsu could legit do not know what they are talking about. Marco can simply choose not use attacks that can be eaten when engaging Natsu. Unlike Ace he has that option.

@rawsos: Also in the "death battle" (that was a one minute melee) I'm pretty sure Ace pumped so much fire into Natsu that he exploded. So mentioning death battle is a counter argument lol. Not even a good one because Ace couldn't produce enough fire to do that to current Natsu.

But the point is Marco should have armament haki. I mean unlike Luffy. He did actually manage to send a logia flying with a physical attack. Also in the New World even literal Canon fodder has armament haki. There is no way Marco doesn't. He's strongest remnant of the Whitebeard Pirates. And again even if he doesn't. He still has insane physical strength to fall back on and his Zoan bird claws.

Also everyone in op has haki, not everyone has control over it tho.

@rawsos: I don't think they are made of fire. As a Zoan he can transmute them into fire. But they are physical until he transmutes them. The bird itself is but once Marco sees Natsu is empowered by it. He won't attack him with it.

That last point isn't relevant to Marco. Marco might be the second strongest Zoan in the verse. He can control his haki

@mee09: @rawsos: Narco and Vista both used Armament Haki against Akainu at MF. Akainu literally curses them by calling them damn Haki users. Can't recall the chapter but its when they are trying to save Luffy.

Nothing from the newest chapter indicates that Marco could survive Natsu's flames.

Both are around the same speed but Natsu might get tired out first unless he’s hitting hard from the get go, his fire might be useless here so it’ll be on physicals.

@wabubub: Marco tanked a multitude of lasers and magma with no damage, Natsu’s flames(while very strong) most likely not hurt him very significantly.

How are they around the same speed exactly? since as far as I'm concerned Marco has feat of intercpeting light beam from Kizaru and I don't see how Natsu has any speed feat anywhere near that.

Dout Natsu is stronger than Fairy heart Zeref, and no the man can't solo One piece his best bet his Immortaly (which is get counter by Hax) something Natsu lacks he will get body even by Luffy with speed alone.

Otherwise luffy was already vastly faster than natsu in the past and currently got another huge speed boost with FS. He can dance around natsu for hours and natsu wouldn't land a hit ..not to mention luffys internal haki hax which natsu also has next to no answer to.
