you have to know that dc rips off as many characters as marvel does. they have always had the same writers going back and forth between companies so of course it happens.

Can you name a few? I realise that they share writers but Captain Marvel (Marvel comics) is blatantly ripping off the Fawcett Comics/DC one. And Sentry is a blatant rip off of Superman. Alot of people dislike Supes so I duno why they'd copy him.

I agree on Imperiex and Pantha but like I said, I think Doomsday is more of a rip off of the borg from Star Trek.
I hate it when any company rips off another, its annoying. I prefer fresh ideas or old characters, not rip offs.

well at the moment i've been reading a lot of DC and some Marvel, i can honestly say that i was more entertained by the DC comics i red more than the Marvel ones i have seen done before. so they don't exactly improve on stories.

LMAO!!! I agree completely and feel that Marvel own original characters are still incredible and cool like Spidey, the X-Men, Captain American, ect.

I'm not sure for how long it came out, but a story I can compare that to is the Earth X series. Fantastic writing. I recommend it.
and 52 wasn't even centred around main characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Women, Martain Manhunter, Flash or the main Green Lanterns. just people like Question, Booster Gold, Steel and a few more, that people wouldn't know about. i read New X-men i like it but they need to focus on some different characters besides Hellion and X-23. i like them but i wont to see more of other characters as well.

Earth X was centered around the entire universe. Mostly on the celestials and Captain Mar-Vell. But the others were barely even noticed like Strange, Spidey, Cap, and Ironman. IMO, Earth X was fantastic writing and I've never seen anything like it.

Secret Wars. House Of M. Along with a few others I can't recall at 3am. As for your second question, Earth X was a series that carried on for about 5 TPB's. Earth X. 2 Universe X TPB's, and the 2 Paradise X TPB's. Each TPB contains about 15 or more normal sized comic books.
