Well.. on Mangog's page on this site it says that he is immune to physical attacks. Would things like heat vision, freeze breath, etc. work on Mangog?

I think Superman can take this one then, but it wouldn't be too easy.

To each his own but I disagree, Prime can handle Mongog. 
 
SA was just super powerful, I think people exagerrate "how he wins" due to typical Superman hate.  
 
Besides, their powers overall are essentially similar SA supes and Superboy Prime. Primes bio even hints at that.
 

Silver Age Superman sneezed out Solar Systems and randomly developed powers out of nowhere, he would have killed Pre COIE Darkseid by coughing. 
Prime had trouble with a dog, had problems with Manhunter, got beat by Superman and stomped by Flash....and he's a seriously annoying emo b!tch

@higher_evolutionary: Some people argue and debate correctly, or just don't debate things when a fav of theirs obviously loses. take for example, me, who loves Hulk. Mangog is one of ODINS foes ODIN get it. His power level is similar or slightly below, superman can't do nothing to him, he doesn't have the powerset. The only chance he would have is to sit in the sun for ten million years.

Superman only advantage is Speed, but i for one dont see how Superman would KO Mangog, and BFR is disallowed.

Mangog has strength, has matter manipulation, has energy attacks and has one of the scariest durability when it comes to brutes.

I go with Mangog every-time.
