@thevivas: It is if comparing the magnitudes of 2 Force nexuses is, and Dark Empire Sidious is a Force nexus people often compare to Valkorion or Nihilus.

Malachor V was more like a Wound than a Nexus... which in KotOR II, was presented as pretty much the opposite

@reactor: Wounds are TYPES of Force nexuses.

"There are dark places in the galaxy, where few tread. Ancient centers of learning, of knowledge, but I did not walk alone."

―Kreia

"The nexus of Trayus Academy, the core is a clawlike altar built over a colossal geyser of dark side energy. It is here that you face your ultimate battle and fulfill your destiny."

―KotOR II Prima Guide

"Revan knew the power of such places, and the power in making them."

―Kreia

@geistalt: You do realize that a nexus =\= amp, right? Also, none of your quotes prove that wounds are nexuses. Just saying...

And I'm surprised no one even cared to give their opinion on which provided a stronger amp until today.

Spite much?

The way I see it, one was influenced by a few centuries' worth of dark-siders, while the other gave birth to Nihilus.

Edit: That's better.

More proof that the deaths of Force-sensitives create Force nexuses lies in the fact that the Valley of the Jedi (you know; the one where Bane convinced Kaan to set off a Thought Bomb that killed any living Sith not named Bane or Zannah) gained/became the strongest Force nexus in the galaxy.

And, according to HK-47, the Battle of Malachor V was SPECIFICALLY MEANT to serve as "a conversion tool"–to encourage the creation of Sith by sacrificing Jedi. And even Atris can take Kreia's place if she uses the Trayus Academy's Force nexus.

Hell, just being on the SURFACE for a prolonged extent of time is life-threatening.
