If it wasn't for the fact that Madara was edo, Obito should have soloed, now they win as team 65/100

EMS Sasuke isn't a huge deal and was rather easily dealt with by alive Madara. It is fair to say edo Madara could do the same despite being weaker. Itachi is a bit of a wild card here, but still isn't as strong as Obito/Madara. Obito's intangibility makes him annoying, but it is doubtful he could beat Madara. His best chance is BFRing and that much he could definitely do if Madara plays around. The Jinchuuriki are mostly useless and serve as big ass bombs.

Madara could give them the treatment he gave the kage and send out a bunch of susanno at once to end the battle very quickly.

In character team can probably take 7/10 cause Madara is like Goku and enjoys the act of fighting too much. If he has no other pressing matters he is gonna enjoy himself. Out of character Madara takes 10/10 every time

Madara immediately trashes Itachi and sasuke and then extreme diffs Obito , would need to pull Divine Forest Bloom for that .

EMS Sasuke at his peak (post Juubito fight) has Perfect Susano'o, precog than can follow demi-gods and pressured alive SM Madara in their brief cqc exchange.

Madara's bijuu sized katons get countered by Obito's own bijuu sized katons, kamui and Susano'o variants or simply get overpowered by Amaterasu.

Madara's wood style gets countered by Susano'o, entons, Kamui and also obito can compete to some degree with his own wood style.

Madara's PS gets mached by Sasuke's PS + 7 bijuus.

Kamui no diffs any high scale attack so PS would be a waste of time against Obito anyway.

Intellect wise Madara is a genius prodigy Uchiha, but he is in a blatant 1v2 against other 2 prodigy Uchihas.

As demomstrated on panel, Obito can transfer his intangibility to objects (his Uchiha Emo Punk Guitar phased through a boulder from range to take KCM Naruto by surprise) and also to people ( 4th Raikage phased through both Obito and Sasuke in his blitz attempt at the 5 kage summit), so team 2 can come with some crazy combos and strategies, such as attacking Madara through his Susano'o with the sharingan windmill shurkien technique combined with Kamui.

Amaterasu can slowly burn through chakra and spreads fast, countering Madara's susano'o.

Kamui BFR counters Edo regen.

Amaterash counters Edo regen.

Itachi can act as a cheerleader.

Team 2 easy diff.

Obito stated that if Itachi had more knowledge on him, he could've come with a better trap to kill him, not that Itachi could beat him in a fight. Amaterasu failed because Itachi didn't know about how Kamui works, therefore he didn't know how to counter it correctly.

Itachi is the one who asked Obito to help him kill the entire Uchiha Police Force while Itachi killed fodder sharinganless Uchihas in the first place.

If Itachi could have done anything to Obito in direct combat, then why did he decide to wait until his death to land a post mortem surprise attack as a last resort that resulted in an epic fail anyway?

Nagato could handle 2 Rinnegans because Uzumakis are famous for a very strong body and vitality, not because of raw strength. Just like Kushina survived when Obito extracted Kyuubi from her.

Obito could handle just 1 simply because he doesn't have the same vitality+ plot. Kishi beeded an excuse so that Obito could keep his Kamui which is by far the most broken ability in the narutoverse to date.

Literally everyone and who faced Obito figured he phases through solid matter, so far Kakashi was the only one who oficially debunked it from A to Z and countered it because he literally has the same ability. The other one is Minato who only countered it because he could instantly teleport, and only because he faced an inexperienced and arrogant Obito who has let his guard down as per his own words.

Itachi wouldn't figure out or slap shit. He knew Obito for half his life and still couldn't figure out how his Kamui works and that he is not Madara and his post mortem trap failed because he didn't know how to counter Kamui.

Obito didn't struggle with anything. He didn't even fight, he just watched the jins work for him. Naruto then was saved by Kakashi and 6 Gates Guy. Also, Obito was restricted from killing Naurto amd Bee.

Sasuke unlocked PS during the Juubito fight when he combined it with Kurama. The same way Madara did during his VOtE fight vs Hashirama as Sasuke himself stated. The same way Naruto and Sasuke did again in the Momoshiki fight.

Amaterasu can still pressure Madara as Obito can Kamui him while Madara absorbs the flames from his body.

Obito cand absorb jutsu too.

What do wood clones counter? 25 legged Susano'os do not match a PS with 7 bijuus as support.

Madara's PS is matched by Sasuke's PS. Obito's Kamui makes PS irrelevant against him.

Obito was shocked because Kabuto managed not only to somehow put his hands on Madara's corpse, but to also reanimate him stronger than when he was alive. This turned Obito's plans and the flow of the war upside down. Nothing from their dialogue implies Obito was afraid.

Itachi has the sealing option with Totsuka Blade. Obito’s coming with Bijuu and Rinnegan abilities. Plus, his Uchiha Flame Formation could likely tank attacks against PS, seeing as it no-sold Bee’s attacks. Sasuke could work with Itachi to have a sea of Amaterasu perfectly under their control.

That being said. Madara takes it due to Obito’s heart seal lol.

I think people are underselling the team here. Obito alone would probably give Madara a run for his money. Itachi's totska blade, yata mirror, amaterasu, and genjutsu could all be a real threat. EMS Sasuke is a wild card, as if you go by how he was in the Kabuto fight he gets stomped, but if he gained access to the perfect susanoo on his own (we only see him use it in conjunction with BM Naruto) he could actually be really helpful against Madara's perfect susanoo.

@alextheboss: Tho DB needs to be taken with a grain of salt because of its flowery exprimation + the fact there is no vizmedia translation of the DB yet, the wording can easily be interpreted as Obito and Madara operating in the same realm of ability, aka being in the same tier/realtive in power.

This if further pushed by portrayl, as Obito and Madara were fighting and talking to each other as equals in ranks, rather than having a leader-subordinate relationship.

These three uchiha together definitely outrank the five kage Madara fought and with the jinchuuriki providing extra firepower the odds should be in their favour.

If Madara doesn't pull out PS almost immediately, there's a high chance he will get outmaneuvred and tagged by the totsuka blade...or just BFRd by Obito, who could tag him with it while Madara is busy absorbing jutsu.

If Madara summons 25 susanos? I give the jinchuuriki favourable odds on beating those (they're only clone ones and Tsunade and Ei were beating them down), bijuus could easily do the same, and none of them are tagging Obito.

Could Madara's PS solo 6 of the weaker bijuu? Quite possibly, but with Itachi, Sasuke and Obito coordinating at the same time and the totsuka blade potentially one-shotting? Doubtful IMO, especially as most of this team is also edo and Obito is never getting tagged by PS.

Team wins after a lengthy fight if Madara pulls out PS, but has potential to win more quickly.

DB isn't meant to be taken literally no matter the translation, it is meant to be interpreted, and this is why I interpreted it and not directly claimed that Obito is equal with Madara in strength.
