@ezra_: So should I change it to Canon only or legends only?
@mrsportsguy13: Yeah other wise everyone will be cherry picking low ends from canon and high ends from legends.
Yoda is obviously the best here but im not sure he can take out two oppoenents skilled enough to give him a decent fight on their own.
Team in a good fight.
^
Yodu is certainly better than any of the duo, though Mace Windu alone seems like a good contender to him, granting him assistance from someone like Count Dooku makes the outcome unequivocal - The team can't lose this.
He'd probably beat them in a force contest, but he'd be hard pressed in sabers against both of them together.
Both of them could push Yoda. Dooku has and Windu beat Sidious who scales to Yoda.
Dooku can't push Yoda. Yoda went easy on Dooku in their duel. Yoda still toyed with Dooku. He and Dooku locked swords at the end of their duel. Dooku was exerting effort and Yoda did not budge an inch. This is adapted from the movie so it's Disney canon.
There is no single Jedi/Sith in the prequel era that can defeat the combined force of Windu and Dooku. Yoda loses a majority but he still puts up a fight being a tier 9.
I'm interested in your guys thoughts on this battle
Team stomps. Either would pose a challenge by themselves.
Dooku would be considerably out of his league but Mace is here to carry. With Dooku's help, they winsolidly.
Mace and Yoda are evenly matched with Yoda having a slight edge. Dooku's skill and lightning provides the edge Mace needs to win.
Team stomp , I could make a good argument for either of them beating Yoda in a 1v1 (Although I do think yoda wins a 1v1 against them) but together they stomp
Team in a good fight.
As far as the films go, this is essentially just Yoda against two of the Emperor.
"There was a great deal of work put in these sword fights, 'cause there are so many of 'em -- we had to make each one individual. Each one had its own personality, that reflected the two opponents and their skills, and how they would adjust. Y'know the sword fights between Palpatine and Mace is different from the one between the Emperor and Yoda, even though we wanted to have, sort of similarities, but make them different enough to where they don't get incredibly repetitious."
~ George Lucas, Revenge of the Sith Archival Directorial Commentary
"Okay well this sequence, uh, always started out with Mace, uh, overpowering Palpatine and then Palpatine using his powers to try to destroy Mace, and Mace deflecting his rays with his lightsaber."
~ George Lucas, Revenge of the Sith Archival Directorial Commentary
"They stop as MACE forces PALPATINE to drop his sword."

"So, I'm pleased with the drama of it all, and the fact that it's clear that I'm standing there and, I am winning this battle actually even without Anakin's help, up until he steps in and, and does what he does to turn the tide."
When Palpatine easily strikes down Mace's three associate Jedi at the outset of the scene, Knoll says, "Look at this -- Mace brought the B-team!"
"You have to be either Mace or Yoda to compete with the Emperor," Lucas says.
"And uh, you know, Sam didn't want to die like a wimp. I don't think any of us wanted Sam to die like a wimp, Sam certainly wasn't gonna die like a wimp. And, so we did a fantastic fight, like a hundred move fight. He came in late, we only got him for four days, because of his you know shooting another movie, but we managed to crank up the rigour and the funk in the rehearsal room... y'know, we kept him on his toes, and I think that fight's phenomenal. Mace has a dark side to him, he's gonna, Mace is gonna attack and if he gets within three feet of you, you're likely to get, get killed."
"Mace Windu's fighting abilities are second only to Yoda. If he gets within range, there's no question... you're dead."
"We've not seen Mace fight yet, and we know he's second only to Yoda."
"Sidious is a level nine. In this film, Obi is eight -- he's moved up -- Anakin is a nine; Mace is a nine, Yoda is a nine. They're up with Sidious."
~ Nick Gillard, The Making of Revenge of the Sith
"Since I'm supposedly the second baddest person in the universe, uh, I'm pretty efficient. I don't do a lot of, um, fancy sword twirling or anything. I dispense people pretty quickly, use as little energy as possible."
"I started out doing it fairly conservatively where he just came and fought, that really didn't work. And it was actually uh... much of the people sort of in editorial were saying 'y'know we gotta make more out of this, you gotta use Jedi powers, you gotta, you can't just go right into the swordfight.' So, I decided to go back to the Empire Strikes Back of throwing things at each other even though I knew they were equals of each other, so it was a hopeless gesture, they would have figured that out in two seconds. For the audience it actually, it's nice for them to go through this process of everyone throwing everything around."
According to Episode II's animation director, Rob Coleman, "George felt that Star Wars fans had been waiting a long time for this moment, and that they wanted to see Yoda in combat. He wanted us to show Yoda ferociously leaping and fighting, not just standing his ground and deflecting incoming attacks. The results had to be an amazing clash between the forces of good and evil with two ultimate masters of opposite sides of the Force in head-to-head combat." This is, of course, exactly what the audience got to see.

Always, always, always, surprise the audience. I have said that in my films, "Do something they don't expect." And I try to do that. That has actually been done for me in this film, because I've already fought Kenobi and Anakin, and beaten them. Taken off Anakin's arm, and wounded Kenobi -- So I've beaten both of them. And, I wasn't defeated by Yoda. Close, maybe, but no one could beat me; now that's going to surprise the audience: that, there is someone who can beat me. Who can finish me off, because he does. That will be a surprise, because it will be unexpected.
~ Christopher Lee, Revenge of the Sith Archival Crew/Cast Commentary
With the technicality of Mace being slightly more formidable than Sidious, while Tyranus is slightly less formidable. Skilled and experienced though he may be, Master Yoda just cannot hope to prevail. This would be an utter thrashing in favour of the duo.
@lord_tenebrous: Amazing analysis my friend
@lord_tenebrous: You are welcome
@el_mago: how no ?
Team, handily. While Yoda is superior to both of them, each of them is of to significant caliber to lose against Yoda when join forces.
Though I think Yoda will still put up a good fight. Mace used Vaaped against Sidious, which put him on his level but that will not quite work against a light sider like Yoda and Dooku, while capable of giving Yoda a fight, is still a tier below him.
