Team 2. Luke is a solid weak link.
Team 2. Vader would beat either of Team 1 but Luke would likely fall first. Luke's victory over Vader was circumstantial and he lacks Maul or Dooku's dueling experience.
If Vader is in his Knightfall prime, team 2 has basically no chance.
If Vader is his suited Prime (RotJ for Legends), it could go either way.
The dark side will always have a certain advantage at the time of being in group, especially when there is a highly proficient Sith Lord such like Dooku, a high proficient Sith Lord possess the force lightning as a ranged advantage, if we're talking about a young Luke, Luke is actually a good matchup toward Darth Maul, because both were young apprentices with matchable feats, maybe Luke didn't possess a great force control but for that his fighting technique was really highly skilled and finally Darth Vader is in disadvantage toward the lightning force.
The second team wins with mid to low diff.
@thesithmaster: How is Luke the weak link?
Either side has the capacity to take this. I'm not sure if Luke's strength is comparable to Vader or Jedi Knight Anakin, but even if he can't pressure Tyranus with his strength, he should be skillful enough to at least contend with him, the same goes to Maul as well.
If Luke becomes enraged, which is probable if Dun Moch backfires, then team Skywalker should win handily.
Maul is out of his depth
Luke beat Vader who beat the guy who stomped him in 3 moves
Maybe add Scout and Maul might have a chance. Dooku needs a better teammate
ROTJ Luke is comparably skilled to SoD Maul, and perhaps even a near equal or equal, but he is lacking in the power department, compared to Maul. The same applies to Dooku.
But I just realized that this is Knightfall Vader. So Vader compensates for that. Team 1 wins.
If this is Knightfall Vader, ha has a chance (small but still) to solo.
If this is RotJ Vader, he would still beat either member of team 2 but it would take time.
Team 2. Luke is a solid weak link.
Agreed. He would be beaten handily (if not in a stomp) by Dooku. Maul should beat him too (though it would take him a while). Luke simply lacks experience to compete with veterans like Dooku or Maul.
Assuming this is RotJ Vader, I can see it going one of two ways:
If however this is Knightfall Vader, he stomps Maul or beats Dooku handily. Team 1 wins.
What is with this theory that Luke is some inexperienced hack by RotJ? He isn't. Not only has he demonstrated a great aptitude for adapting to his opponents(vs Vader in ESB; vs Kharys in Classic Star Wars Annual, etc) but he's studied Obi-Wan's journals(The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi) and has analysed his confrontation's with Asajj Ventress, A'Sharad Hett and the plethora of different Jedi-killing droids he faced throughout the Clone Wars.
This whole "inexperience" thing is an incredibly cheap excuse, especially given how he's easily compensated for that a good deal of times. Unless either Dooku or Maul pull out a lightwhip, they won't be achieving anything that would be too hard for Luke to adapt to. Add to that his superior innate talent to either of them, comparable skill feats to Tyranus and comparable physical feats to Maul, and it's obvious he won't be getting stomped by either and he could beat both.
Luke loses to Maul due to considerably inferior power, equal or slightly inferior skill, inferior physicals.
Luke loses to Dooku due to inferior skill, considerably inferior power. He's stronger, though.
He's not getting stomped, though. And Team 1 wins due to Knightfall Vader being solid MVP.
