- CURRENT LUFFY VS MCU THOR
- ALL ABILITIES ALLOWED
- WIN BY DEATH
- NO PREP OR KNOWLEDGE OF EACHOTHER
- BOTH ARE BLOODLUSTED
Luffy is far faster than Thor is, and based on recent chapters probably has higher AP and Durability. Luffy downscales from Country Level, while Thor is at the low end of Island Level. While Stormbreaker would probably be able to greatly damage Luffy, Thor wouldn't even be able to hit him.
This is spite at least make it equal speed as is Thor would never in a million years touch Luffy while Luffy strikes him as he pleases with Continental punches that bypass durability.
...Luffy definitely doesn't have continental level punches lol, he is around country level.
@morningstar999: Can anyone in one piece tank black hole that eat several stars like Loki did?
To quote some other stuff Raj provided
Thor was able to crush amped Iron Man's armor.
An extremely weakened Iron Man, at ~1/475 of the power he was at when he wrestled Thor, was able to survive the blast from a supernova.
Here's the model for which all supernovae should be based. That's because this is a real supernova
As for Iron Man...well...the nuke caused an implosion in the ship, akin to what happens in a star's core before it goes nova
And the big explosion is definitely not the nuke's, either. You won't find a nuke detonated, especially not in these conditions either, that will continue to propagate like this in terms of form, duration, or whatever you want to cherrypick your nukes by -
What matters is if this has intent, if it has any actual basis beyond visuals.
Thor also did very well against the Hulk. Physically speaking Hulk is better than Thor and worse still, he gets stronger as he gets angrier, which leads to situations like this.
Still, with his powers unlocked, Thor is able to put Hulk through some good shock therapy.
And this was a very strong Hulk.
And this was pretty damn serious, too. Because Hulk could have destroyed the planet. But Banner is more dangerous than Tony right of the bat - no matter how much Tony builds to prep, Banner ends up tearing it down. And their fights against Thor as resemblant of that gap of power.
And it's not like this isn't shown before. Mindless Hulk is stronger than Savage Hulk,
and even at that point, Banner was still confident he could protect Earth from explosive, gravity bending power which would also suffice for obliterating Earth.
One could say Asgard - its people - could not truly hold off destiny, for they met it at the blood-drenched hands of Thanos. And armed he was with an iridescent purple bauble revered as the Orb, now brandished in its full glory as the Power Stone. This brings on Thor's arc of vengeance to create a new weapon, capable of slaying the godly Thanos for once in for all.
After being beaten senseless to the point he's conscious yet unable to even move his body, survives torture by the Power Stone being directly pressed to his skull and then caught directly by its blastwave.
What's interesting is that before this tragedic torture transpired, the ship flew through a neutron star, unscathed.
That's right, there was a neutron star all the way up in that singularity all along.
So we know the ship is really really tough to begin with. It is durable enough to withstand the conditions of a core - a compact place within a star that is practically a compacted star to begin with. But here's the thing.
A supernova is noteworthy because the electric repulsion within the core is more powerful than the gravity binding it. And the Power Stone bears so much power that it comes into contact with this durable ship, which can withstand the forces present in the core, and blow it to smithereens. And all this is happening in such a place where the conditions are much, much rougher than your average star, or star core, for that matter. That's because you can take the mass of the star, squeeze it into the size of something so small the human eye could fully see from ground level, and then go to the part of it where such power is strongest, where the force is of such proportion that if it were to go any further, the thing turns into a black hole on principle. This example is seen everywhere, especially where the Thorverse is concerned. Even Jason Aaron is on the shpiel. Even mighty Mjolnir was forged, undone, and forged once more in such conditions. That's the lore, feats, power levels, all of it uniting in this unique nexus where I weaponize it here and now!
@deathoes: Well what is the proof that it is less then building level? If you mean why the entire building was not destroyed, for the same reason why Beeurs or Seiya dont destroy islands let alone unvierse with most hits and blasts they throw, comic Thanos as well
All of them would be sub building level most of the time if we based it on collateral damage, that is an extremly faulty logic/ argument
Yeah attack potency doesn't exist for LA but does for manga. As expected.
What's ironic is that AP in LA is evaluated on a realistic level and doesn't even need fanfiction calcs and threads like these for readers to deliberate their way through the simple scientific phenomenon that is AP
But then again there's the intelligence quotient to be factored in
