A lot of people claimed Naruto would win, but what about H2H?
@shirso: The last feat wasn't really "base" Naruto though the whole Kyuubi-chakra was just condensed into his fist.
Base Naruto was never that physically impressive, even in his own verse. It's why his clones are almost never that effective against his opponents.
Luffy on the other hand, comes from a verse where just straight physical fighting is much more common, and is a physical brawler himself. I think it's safe to say that he stomps here.
Luffy doesn't really have a "base form' anymore. Didn't he master G2 to the point where could utilise the power in his base during the timeskip?
In that case, you could also say that about Naruto.
Without any extra blood-pumping or Kyuubi Chakra, Luffy is the clear physical superior.
@gnomishness: No I am talking of this, when Toneri leaves with Hinata and a Naruto near drained of chakra tanks what seems to be at least a country sized explosion.
this is a toss up
luffy is basically perfect for h2h since all of his attacks/signature moves are physical, but naruto is more tactical than luffy and he could pull something off + partial transformation (if that’s even allowed...)
naruto has better stamina showings (from the war) so he’d probably win
