You can't really equalize speed against someone who can slow/accelerate time he's always going to be faster.

Natsu destroys him, leaving aside the inventions of Bc Fans, Natsu surpasses Lucius in everything. he can burn his time magic, gravity is not a problem, he already defeated Bluenote, soul magic will not be a threat after his battle with Wraith, he can fight with spiritual projections without having a soul.

Isn't speed BC's only advantage? Seeing that it's equalized, Natsu should win based on the fact BC is inferior to FT in all other categories based on debates I read before.

Usually yes, but characters in Black Clover were explicitly stated to move at lightspeed very early on.

@molt: No idea who approved that sentiment but speed is far from the only advantage and even with it equalized he's faster than Natsu.

@friederich: I looked and Gray was the one countering Mard Geer demon curse because he used Demon Slayer magic, the counter of demon powers. Natsu was standing there doing nothing but shivering in fear. LIke Again, are we going to give new feats to Natsu every time he cannot win against a fictional character. I mean, the Fairy Tail fanbase had his time of its life when some users were deliberately cropping, editing and creating fake statements and panels. But that time is gone. They got caught in 4K multiple times.

Lucius has no issue operating on a Conceptual level.

Speed equalized took Lucius the only advantage he has away. Natsu beating Zeref, who governs space and time on a universal scale, is a more potent feat. Him burning Zeref down to the Fairy Heart, Natsu burning time. Last one the only chance for Lucius to do something is taken away. Natsu stomps.

Don't know why people are saying that Lucius solos the verse lol, no answer to Zeref or Acno, regardless he stomps Natsu (lockable mismatch tbh).

You'd need at least someone like a DG or Zeref to even contend. Natsu dies horribly

It is sad, but even after the finnished manga and now over 120 chapters, they lack of speed feats to compete against opponents which are said to being able to keep up with the speed of light. Even the dubious Haku feat was mistranslation and the official translation says "near lightspeed", which only means they can move at relativistic+ at best. That by feats however is also questionable.

I disagree (I do think he beats Zeref comfortably) and likewise they have no answer for him either.

I didn't mean that Zeref beats him, I meant that he stalemates Lucius because both have no answer to the other.

Natsu wins if he's angered by some friendship type shit. Or he goes into DragonForce mode immediately if not Lucius wins this. Most of Natsu countering feats come form being amped if I'm remembering correctly. For example the burning through Dimaria time was from End Natsu and not just regular Natsu. Dragon force Natsu did burn Zeref magic but at the same time Natsu attacks would never hit Lucius. Time magic and having full Lucifero meaning if he was to use potdk, Natsu attacks would be meaningless bc of the innate hax that brings. Mereolona was able to burn magic and kill a demon who's nothing but magic and her attacks was nothing to Lucifero.

So if Lucius use all his magic to the fulliest he crushes Natsu.

@michigane120: He changes Zeref soul plus he's clearly faster than Zeref and more hax. For Acno it depends on how u see Dragons and Devils, to me they are somewhat relative since they both resistant to basic magic and can be hurt by certain things. Acno only one who stands a chance, Zeref gets stepped on.

Correct but not only does it ingrain such a belief, but It prioritizes it (which is a very important fact).
